Who's coaching him? That looks like Hadi beside him. I thought Hany Also retired from coaching
Aceto is still his coach. I thought he was going to be training with Pacho but I haven’t seen him workout with him yet. The Hadi look-alike is former 212 champ Kamal Elgargni.

What they really need to do is graduallly move the open criteria to what "classic physique" is now to align things back to being "aesthetic". That was the original objective of "bodybuilding". Now it just ends up being an arms race to freaky size...... would probably ne beneficial healthwise too in regards to the cycles ran...

I’ve never paid much attention to the nitty gritty of bodybuilding. I’d be vaguely familiar with the top names over the years.

So yeah, I’m ignorant to a lot.
But since when was there a height limit for the Olympia?

That sounds like the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.

The IFBB and NPC are some of the most poorly run organizations out there. The way they conduct themselves in a buisness sense is tragically hilarious.

A very good indicator of the amatuerism can be illustrated by their official web pages... go to ifbbproleague.com or even better visit npcnewsonline.com and look at the layout of the webpages...... the shyts look like they were made in geocities and haven't been updated.

Anyway I bring that up, because I'm not sure if you are familiar how the "classic physique" category came to be. The category came to be because of a wave of online pressure from the bodybuilding community that the sport was too far removed from its aesthetic past and objectives. There would be countless comolaints about dudes looking like freaks but not embodying a symmetric physique, etc. For the most part they ignored the noise until the final domino fell........ that was when Arnold started to complain about roid gut, etc when holding his town halls during the Arnold Sports Fest....... then the IFBB capitulated and hurridly implemented this "classic physique" category..... but they had a problem.... remember I said they have zero buisness sense? .... So they introduce this category, without realizing they are going to cannabalize themselves from the other divisions they have......what is their solution to make sure they don't take away shine from the other main bodybuilding category? Create an arbitrary weight amd height cap to keep competitors from "looking big" .... so now you have competitors and situations like the one above. And this came about because they don't have a consistent judging criteria and were rewarding "size" and "mass" for so long that now it is seen as the way to win....

Yeah all this shyt is complicated.

It just needs to be…Mr Olympia is one thing. Open category. That’s it.

All the other shyt, call it something else.
There’s no need for open category, 212, Classic…this is foolishness.

shyt is a mom and pop run show. They can’t even get proper streams for their biggest shows. Family business.
