He just likes to lift all the time and he seems likeable but I hate his technique! He doesn't lift sensibly which is surprising considering how much of a student he is to the sport.
I agree with you.

I just get a little bit of that Dorian Yates vibe when I watch his videos. Not that he’s super intense like Dorian. But sometimes I need that meathead energy to really give a strong effort.

That's fair but for just lifting he's ok but if he wants to go far competing he will need to change quite a few things. I do like that you get to see him be raw and learn in real time and dude uploads daily with no camera man just him doing everything himself so props to him but training wise he needs to tighten up a bit BUT he's young and he can get away with lifting heavy with bad form for now

Get a coach Quinton. :francis:
On one hand, I think having a coach makes sense if you're trying to be your absolute best and win.

On the other hand, I kinda think bodybuilding is inherently an individual endeavor. Like the whole point was to do it alone and figure it out yourself. Because only you really know how you feel and what works and how to motivate yourself and grind.

I don't know. Maybe it's this nostalgia I have for the old school dudes who did it (mostly) themselves.

He can still train solo (even though I think his training sucks too), but he needs a proper coach to help him with peaking for the stage. He’s shown some inconsistent looks the last three months of competing. Yesterday he was flat. Losing to that no-name Russian should be a wake up call.

Losing to a man who didn't crack top 3 Olympia in Classic Physique twice should've already been a shot cross the bow... :scusthov::huhldup:
