To me I just think his body was/is a ticking time bomb period, trying to stick him in these "crucial games" would just accelerate that timeline. Zion needs to do better at controlling his weight which he should be able to do with or without the Pelicans.

Hard disagree with what? He came in the league hurt and proving the injury/weight concerns correct. Memphis, New York, Atlanta, Cleveland would've had the same issue. All those teams shouldn't draft him either then.

I just won't believe in the health until I see it. A 7'5 dude running around full tilt for 30 mins is gonna need a lot of load management. Might be a Zion type deal where when we see him he lives up to the hype but his body just ain't built for the grind.

Zion's hype was just different because he was a human highlight reel while Vic is more fundamental

Vic will be a good, all star caliber player but I simply am not sure he will have the longevity unless they load manage him a lot and early on. Max 30 mins a game
