Do you dudes actually enjoy higher Refresh Rates on LEDs?

Ur talking about the soap opera effect and it's not the 120hz causing it..also..that feature can and SHOULD be turned off for watching films..they're not meant to be watched like that..

Son it's literally like one thing u turn off in the settings menu..every TV has it..problem is people don't get that u have to adjust shyt from the way it looks in stores when u bring the TV home..that shyt is stores is for STORE DEMO USE...the TVs even have store demo mode on them..where the damn backlight is on full blast and shyt is on max in he settings..ALL that shyt gotta be turned off or down when u bring the TV home..

1. 120hz can add lag because it is not true refresh in tvs, just simulated and processed. they are inserting fake frames which adds lag. if you want a fast ass screen, get a pc monitor

2. your tv or blu ray player should have the ability to run a movie in 24 frames. turn off all processing stuff on your tv, calibrate it with a calibration disc (i recommend disney wow) and you wont need any special presets

the very best gaming tv reviewed was the first sony they showed, it was also the tv used in early ps4 advertising. with its lag, it should only be one frame of animation slower than the gaming device connected to it. this tv is a beast

W900a is the better overall tv so that would be the better choice over the w802a..honestly the w900 is the best 1080p led picture quality wise u can buy..shyt can make another tv look black and white in comparison..THATS how good the colors are..

on 4k: keep in mind that the current hdmi standard cant display 4k at 60fps, so if you plan to actually keep that tv long enough to play a PS5 or xbox two then it will be obsolete if it does not have a modular port system that allows for the company to release a new panel in the back of the tv for the new hdmi standard.

same for PCs. if you have a powerful enough rig to run 4k at a frame rate above 30, you wont actually get your money's worth with a 4k tv.

not about just the price..I literally deal with these tv's all the time..wait till there's more content available as well..altho Sony is the only one pushing the content right now at this point. and 4K blu rays are rolling out soon...I think it's just too early...better to wait till shyt gets flushed out more. there's really no need for it at this point..now if u got the bread to spend than by all means do u..but as of now. there are 1080p TV's that are better than any 4KTV..

yes. I would honestly rather play a PS4 game on a W900a..which is essentially the 4k without 4k..only difference is refresh rate in which the w900a is 240hz vs the 4K's 120 but that don't mean shyt when it comes to Sony since they have the refresh rate shyt on lock as far as smoothness goes... response time is better as well tho...and the 4Ktv IS an ledtv...it's not OLED or Plasma.

So you're telling me, with no bias in your thoughts that a 4k tv running at 4k is inferior for gaming when compared to this w900a tv that you mention here.

Once you enjoy 120hz you'll never ever go back. Heck my monitor here is 75hz and its worlds different compared to 60hz.
