Nobody cares about Shai . He isnt beloved like Steph. He isnt loved and hated (but really loved just dont wanna admit it) like Bron. Also its football season and both have expanded postseasons. Basketball convos outside of messiness and individual greatness dont really pick up until Christmas and after all star.

Exactly. SGA didn't take the trajectory of being highlight factories early in their careers to build a stanbase. Steph with all the 3s. Lebron, MJ, Kobe all came in dunking on folks and living on highlight reels so that by the time they refined their games they already had their legion of fans that could then appreciate when their games became more grounded and more nuanced.
