Crazy thing don't think their starting five has played one game together

Their bench players alone could prob win 35-40 games if tbtt started on a team
20-25 MAYBE they wouldn't score enough to win games. Maybe less. The system only works because they are allowed open shots due to pentration from the stars. If they were keyed on they would suck

Thats been par for the course. Go listen to old Mike interviews. Its a media training mad lib. Same with Magic...Kobe...Bron. Bird just didnt talk :mjlol: AI was controversial for breaking that mold. Steph wasnt saying wild shyt. Now too your point, maybe an entire generation raised on drama and demagoguery may have different sensibilities :manny:
The greats you named have had moments where their being cocky and people either hated or loved them for it. Larry Bird came into the 3 point contest and asked everybody who coming in second. Steph don't do much trash talking, but he will do a shammy like no other while buring a 40 foot 3. Plus Draymond trash talking is still a reason for Golden State being hated, people wanted to see them lose. OKC literally is know just for basketball which is a good thing, but for the new generation of teens/early 20's you will literally see a tweet with thousands of likes saying OKC is boring because they don't do shyt. I don't know if it's brainwashing because of the 24/7 drama cycle we have with social media, but I think that's it.

This is the real insane part :pachaha: They might fukk around and get a generational player after going back to back
Stop throwing that word around.
Nobody in this draft is generational.
There's a lot of talent but there's not even a consensus number one pick.

It gets pretty steady attention in all the player podcasts as well as ESPN, Yahoo, and other media channels. So I don’t know what more people want.

Literally had semi outrage last week with ppl losing their mind about LAC owing OKC their pick, and half the retired player podcasters saying Shai has more of a bag than Jordan and the other half going irate. Every other week they bringing up who should be MVP between him and Joker, or who can beat OKC.

Mind you they haven’t played certain teams yet, so if they get to 30-1 or 30-2, heading into those match ups, then it’ll get a bit more toxic.

Football is gonna dominate all the media talk for the most part right now, and they're a team with no drama just hoop. Talk on them might pick up after the Super Bowl, they feel inevitable to some extent. They're a steady team, so as long as they keep it up they won't leave any other choice but for them to be talked about. You can add on if the MVP discussion becomes as toxic as it was last year as fuel too I guess.

keeping it real...last year didn't seem like a dominant title run for okc. if haliburton doesn't get hurt, pacers might be the reigning champs...

that said, sga is the reigning mvp and okc are the reigning champs. they deserve attn, but they aren't the main story line in the nba.

just like the spurs quietly got 5 titles. sga is about as boring as timmy was. great players and great teams though.
