Yup
Our house purchase criteria ensured that we would be buy in a neighborhood with a high walk score
Literally:
3mins to huge walking trail, man made lake, park/playground for kids
5mins to local strip plaza (small grocery, pharmacy, fast food, pet store, mom and pop shops)
10mins huge community center, outdoor ball, splash pad, mini bike park
20mins large plaza (major grocery, liquor, banks, restaurants/bars, doctors office, etc)
Have kids, couldn't imagine having to drive everywhere. Need places to walk to

I used to bike there on the Belt Pkwy path. When I was living in Bk, my bike was my 3rd place weather permitting. I still bike but I'm limited as to where I can bike where I am now and it gets boring biking the same shyt over and over.
