She was like 4th or 5th in polling in California before she dropped out. She has no real base.

Anyways AOC2024 here we come

It’s been little over than a month who can legit call it now? Biden might run twice, or she may become popular or hated. It’s too soon to anything but make a baseless guess

That's just your opinion. Also, you're talking about Kamala is not a "national candidate", yet she was just apart of winning presidential ticket that got 81 million votes. Stop it.

Also, it's indisputable that being VP changed Joe's image and is the biggest reason why he's president right now - that's not even debatable.

Anyways, for the final time, let's wait and see what happens over the next 4 years. It's way too early to claim anything right now.

Obviously, everything is opinion, even your comments. The point of this thread is to share our opinions and discuss now. If you wanna wait and see then see your way out.

Kamala is a losing candidate. Kamala didn’t get 81 million votes, Joe Biden did. She couldn’t even make it far in the primary. Those are facts.

Obviously we don't know what the situation will be in 2024, in politics 3 years is an eternity.

But Biden is old, so let's assume he doesn't run for reelection, and Kamala goes on to win the primary. What do you think of Kamala's chances at being the first female (and first black female) president? And does she have better chances against Trump or against some other Republican?
She obviously can't win a national election and even the majority of her base wouldn't get behind her. She cant even generate excitement among 1/3rd of black voters

Anyone who thinks she has even the slightest chance is delusional. She has ZERO hype. America wouldn't elect a white woman, they're not gonna elect a black woman anytime soon. Michelle Obama would have a much better chance and even she prob wouldn't make it. Mark my words if Trump runs again in 2024 with a reloaded and hungry base, and a medicore 4 years of Biden, Harris would get massacred.

I think on paper she had a lot of stuff that should go in her favor but just didn’t for whatever reason.

This is total conjecture but I also think that predicting who will be successful and for what reasons is harder than before. These are crazy times, and I think everything is upside down and harder to guess. I don’t know if Trump’s rise was the cause or the effect, but he’s correlated.

nah

they are at the peak of their popularity right now. hard to imagine GOP or progressives will actively look for reasons to like them when they are busy tearing them down every day already
What are you talking about? :ld:

It’s not a shoe in as alleged because they won’t ever be “popular” enough for it to be so. People on the left are already complaining about them.

So basically, not “exactly” :ld:
Not true. The incumbent VP is going to be the shoe-in for the Democratic nomination. The only way that won't be possible is if the Biden presidency ends up being disastrous.

Also, my "Exactly" remark was referring to the entirety of @FAH1223's post not just that part. You might want to re-read his post to see the totality of it.
