Do you think that a resurgence of Hip Hop is still possible?

Can "real hip hop" make a strong comeback?

How is hip hop not having a resurgence right now? 2011-2016 has seen a lot of great shyt come out. shyt is in a way better spot than it was in the 2006-2010 era of ring tones, wack faux 90s rap, Slaughterhouse type shyt, etc.
2009-2011 was good when all of today's acts were new and fresh but shyt is stale now and has been since like 2012. I can't name five classic albums to come out in the past four years.

Not saying the seeds aren't being placed, but its still not fully there yet. Thats why I said in the near future.

Only thing we need to do is stop supporting cac artist. When we get rid of the Drakes and Iggy Azelias and shyt i gaurantee the quality of hip hop will take a massive leap.
Another thing is hip hop production.

nikkas talk shyt about trap, but You have to realize the reason why alotta beats became repetitive "trap" or "snap" beats is because of how strict sampling laws became. But now, producers are getting moer musical, actually learning how to create melodies, reading about music theory and shyt and you can tell in the production.
So I see rap getting alot better in the 20s :wow:
