Not a chance in hell. It's so far pimped out and played. Way too status quo. Just listen to the artists you dig that have fan bases in the thousands is the best one can do.

aye man ain't nothing wrong with balance breh, you gotta balance bullshyt with real shyt sometimes. plus when that lil nikka was bumping Fetty, he was a weirdo and wanted to put weave(to get dreads) and dye his hair like Fetty. i literally saved this lil nikka from being beat up for looking weird.

well i was born in the 80s so i actually experienced the 90s. you were prolly born in the mid-90s but that doesnt matter. what matters is ive done more for this culture than forcing wack ass real hip hop on little kids. im a true head who can appreciate the vibes of a young thug. he is like a dancehall artist to me, the way he bends his melodies but thats for another day.

It will, everything has its cycles. Once the edm/rap collabs end and the pop rap stars fade (Wayne is already a dinosaur), and it's not geared towards white college kids it will. I'm speaking about mainstream rap now just to be clear.

Authenticity and originality needs to be a major factor again and I think it will be after so many years of every song sounding similar, the content being the same regardless of the artist they will be valued again.

How is hip hop not having a resurgence right now? 2011-2016 has seen a lot of great shyt come out. shyt is in a way better spot than it was in the 2006-2010 era of ring tones, wack faux 90s rap, Slaughterhouse type shyt, etc.

2011 - 2016 are the worse years by far.
