We cant ignore how we got here. Doc backdoored his way into this job as an "advisor" while Griffin was there. The team was jockeying for the top seed in the East at the time. They havent come close to that since. No pleas for him. And no pleas for Giannis.

The roster was fukked regardless of whether Doc was the coach or not. There's enough blame to go around for everyone, but Horst shouldn't be absolved of it just because of Doc's reputation.

Considering what players he was given throughout his career, he is one of the worst coaches of all time. In that same tier with other WOAT coaches like george karl, etc.

You can be a bad coach for a season or two and never get hired again, you can use it as an excuse that you never had a real chance to show what you can do.....Rivers was constantly proving that he should be out of the league.
