It doesn’t have to be though. I’m guilty of not having a nuclear family but that’s really all it takes. If you take two people that make 50k/year and that isn’t hard to do at all and they work together instead of working as two separate entities under the same roof, they can be worth a million in a little over a decade. Focus on paying off the family home, using equity properly to invest into a rental property or two and it’s totally possible.

I’m not even a boot strap type of dude but black people are literally trying to fight everyone with both hands tied behind our back. A lot of it is our own doing because we don’t see the value in family structure.

this is false. U may be honest and very resolute in ur desire to start a family. But if you’re really wise you’ll understand how risky it is. Ur wife can change her mind anytime and you’ll be fuccked. Learn to stand on ur own two feet.

You’re right, I have been through a divorce and it sucks but married couples tend to be more financially well off.

What’s false? Lol the family structure is where most wealth is passed down. We are in the beginnings of the greatest wealth transfer in history. Guess how this is being transferred?

You’re confusing peoples desire for hollywood style families and relationships with how the people who are really building wealth are maintaining it. Think about it. 70 trillion dollars that won’t be available for anybody else in the country over the next 20 years unless they decide to spend it. Thats power.

One other thing I noticed is people have different levels of tolerance. U said uve been through divorce once and it sucks. But from the tone of ur post it seems you’ll get married again. That’s scary and impressive at the same time. I personally could never allow myself to be that vulnerable.

Black capitalists love looking at a small fraction of us being successful and use it to justify their own unrealistic aspirations instead of seeing it as a major flaw in the system that needs to be rectified.

If you are a capitalist you are not worried about the group.

conquering north korea for nice tight asian p*ssy
This thread has nothing to do with that topic.

I do own that book, though. Just haven't made time to read it
Except it does. When we get to talking about rich black folk and shyt it’s only a matter of time until the convo starts about why most black ppl aren’t in this position. Then posters will start talking about what it is that we ain’t doing right, whether that’s what we buy, or what we invest in etc etc.

my point stands
