I've been feeling similar but less dumb and more so annoyed.

So much hate and ignorance and pleasure in this world it frequently fukks my mind up because of all the obstacles I face being a creative in a 3rd world country masquerading as a first.

It gets to a point where I feel attacked morally and mentally by any new trends lately

Gotta be stoic and the best kind of man you can be, it's different for everyone though. But for me I've practiced this to get me over:

Embracing old media, using analog devices sometimes over digital, reading history , meditating on what is importsnt and what the man wants to force me to think is important, playing a sport of some kind (epically playing MORE than spectating, that's a major key), when it comes to my art and creative endeavors I have a less is more mindset and make it so I put max effort into fewer projects so that I create more value each time I do it vs pumping out stuff, which I now REFUSE to call content.

Bunch of rambling but basically breh, you neeed to do things that are good for your mind and body and demand your focus and attention to finish, experience, and master the things you do in life that make you YOU

OH
stay off the internet and social media and you will recover in no time. Lift, cardio, eat clean, and meditate....You're mind will sharpen up again
No lie, I'm definitely addicted to the internet. Last month my wifi went out for two days and after work when I would get home during that time I would just sit around and check my connection every 15 minutes. I felt like Pookie from "New Jack City" because my dopamine receptors are so damn fried :mjlol:

Back when I was in college a decade ago, my mind felt razor sharp. I could slog through dry textbooks without losing focus, I could hold a conversation without using a bunch of filler words, and my memory and information recall was on point.

It seems like now, for the past several years, my mind feels foggy, my thoughts feel jumbled, my speech often sounds stilted and unsure, and my memory feels weak -- unless I'm at work where I need to be "on".

I could've written this, this has been happening to me the last few years. I've been wondering if it's just a natural thing as I age.

My knowledge feels strong and I feel wiser than ever, it's like it's just slower to access that information.

I am pushing 50 in a couple years and cognitively I feel like experience has helped shaped my reaction to things. Its okay to not be the first person with the answer. Actually, my work is much more on the strategic side that requires time and thought and less of a knee jerk response. I am a curious person that always likes to learn, that seems to be a good recipe for keeping the mind sharp.
