It's fukkin gay but I'm trying to figure out how I can improve on it to open up career opportunities with these cacs
Then he kept talking about his family and rock music
I mean seriously I don't get the need for it, I have to chat people up for my job and at times it feels like I'm heaving up bile.
They want you to go to see if you can "be a team player"Yup!
I hate it.
I constantly decline to go to company events because I don't feel like pretending to care about these people that don't know my name or anything about me. They're non-existent to me and may as well not be there....so why should I be there pretending I care?
.I know....but fukk that. They want you to go to see if you can "be a team player"
And networking can generally lead to more opportunities.
Life is full of pretending, it's crazy.
I know....but fukk that.
I don't like anybody that much...
I've never been a team player...not one day in my life.
Never played team sports, never joined groups or clubs...I just can't get with the group-think mentality.
Hell, I can't even do team projects in college. Professor in my biology class assigned me to some group to do an assignment together, I did the shyt myself and didn't bother asking the others for help or dealing with them.
Turned in my project and aced it in spite of getting dinged for technically not participating in the group project...professor couldn't deny the quality of my report.
That shyt would NOT have turned out that well if I'd have aligned myself with the bum ass fools in my group.
I like working by myself too.I hate it
I like working by myself too.
The 'higher ups' generally see this as a bad thing and want everybody to be able to come together. Not understanding that people work at different paces and some people work better alone, nobody wants to pick up the slack of a lazy team member. I completely understand what you're saying.

With this bartending I have too, and you do end up having a few fun conversations here and there.Me too, but I gotten better at it somehow
