Bro 'nem
Ive notice that the last 3-5 years i have a hard time getting tasks done. I start shyt and never finish them and get back to them after i abandoned another task i started and realized the one i abandoned earlier. At least that is what bothers me the most. But by overall symptoms are pretty much like OP @TheReckoning . Im forgetful, have a very short attention span, cant focus on anything for long as i get distracted easily. Dont even get me started on the sex part
Bro, the shyt was literally killing my employment opportunities. IDK how many jobs I been through at this point

To those of you who are struggling with this, are there any supplements I can take to help until i see a doctor?

A friend of mine recommended i try Ciltep and while i was more productive while taking it i dont think it really helped that much

Also if i do get put on Adderal , are there side effects of Adderal i should worry about?

B-12 is good for nerve health as well as oxygen transport.

I don't have ADD, but it keeps me solid.

Love
I tried this supplement called Thrive. It was legit, and I had hella energy. Expensive subscription though. Bushed it.
Looked this up on amazon and seeing a lot of different bottles of shyt. Can you point me to the correct one?

I've dealt with ADD/ADHD since I was in grade school. I used to take Ritalin for it way back when. Then Concertra....I got off of that cause it made my stomach ache. Then Adderall.....I love adderall.
Then buproprion. Now I know how to keep it under control. I honestly find it a hidden blessing. I have my mind in nine billion places at once and it helps me stay focused and creative.

The problem I have with ADD is the fact that my insomnia has gotten worse. I'm up all night and I'm not in bed until 9 or 10 am. I wake up at either 4 or 5 pm. :mjcry:

Im ALWAYS forgetting things like my passwords, keys, etc etc
I have an extremely short attention span when it comes to remembering numbers, people's names etc
I have a terrible time focusing on one thing and usually get bored easily and move on to something else only to repeat the same process.
Ive made irrational and impulsive decisions such as having a ridiculous amount of promiscuous sex and not being able to manage money right
Some how i graduated college and am working a pretty decent job.
Ive been this way my whole life and cant help but feel that if i were treated earlier i wouldn't have made so many mistakes.

Are any of you in the same predicament? What have you done to treat it?

Damn thats me to the tee, to think how much further i would be in life if i could focus consistently :mjcry:

Concerta in the morning, 18mg, and obsessive organization/studying.
I always take it after breakfast (around 630am) and the "appetite suppressant" side-effect wears off by lunch time (around 1130).
Doesn't affect my sleep at all. :yeshrug:

Yeah I was diagnosed with moderate adhd. shyt sucks. I was taking concerts for a bit 18mg and hated it. fukking me up in terms of school.

Been reading Fast Minds. Gonna have to up my dosage to 30mg in order to graduate

I highly recommend the book fast minds and making schedules, have a planner, notebook etc.. I'm doing all this now

Though it is hard even finishing it... Also CBT might be good, I heard

Everyday is a struggle for me but I have found a few tools to keep it somewhat balanced. Everyday I meditate usually in the morning and this keeps me grounded and less neurotic throughout the day. I also took a new job as developer and had to go through intense training a few months back. To work around my ADD I decided to order some modafinil. Taking that kept me extremely focused and made it easier for me grasp abstract concepts without getting impatient. Towards the end of my training I was starting to develop a tolerance to it and stopped taking it altogether. Meditation keeps grounded but it doesnt give me the tunnel like focus modafinil gave me. I am able to focus on a task for about an hour at a time without getting too bored.
The sex thing has been a persistent struggle..but I wont go to in depth with that.

Another technology that I am strongly considering is neuro feedback training. The shyt is expensive but ot yields positive results supposedly
