:what: Life After Death isn't even better than All Eyez On Me. If it comes out a year earlier like planned it would barely make top 5 albums of 1996

Stop it.

Only albums I would consider better from 1996 is Reasonable Doubt. Atliens, Ironman, it was written and AEOM are close IMO but nah.

Buying an album =/= it's the GOAT, and the artist is the GOAT.

I copped the album day 1, so I'm not sure what you're trying to say. It was a cool, popular album catapulted into some other shyt because BIG died.

Fred.

yeah yeah. i forgot this is the booth, where jay and big are overrated, but em is the GOAT. :laff:

But thats my thing Ready to Die is a way better album. There's no way in hell I'd say Reasonable Doubt, It Was Written, or Atliens > Ready To Die. But I could argue for those albums over LAD easily. No way Playa Hater is on the best hip hop album of all time

You can be the shyt, flash the fattest five
Have the biggest dikk, but when your shell get hit
You ain't worth spit,
just a memory
Remember he, used to push the champagne Range (I remember that)
Silly cat, wore suede in the rain
Swear he put the G in game, had the Gucci frame
before Dana Dane, thought he ran with Kane
I can't recall his name, wasn't he that kid
that nearly lost half his brain over two grams of cocaine?
Getting his dikk sucked by crackhead Lorraine
A fukking shame, dude's the lame, what's his name?
Darkskin Jermaine, see what I mean?

This whole verse was so perfect damn I miss biggie :mjcry:

If I ain't said Em is the GOAT (I didn't) or that BIG or Jay are over rated (I didn't) why are you bringing that nonsense up to me? :what:

Not the GOAT =/= over rated. BIG is a great MC but all that GOAT shyt started after he died. And his death made it virtually impossible to debate the point....which is what's happening in this thread.

It's my personal favorite. Don't know if it's the GOAT, but it's a Top 5 album IMO. Definitely better than RTD. No respect to RTD, because it's such a great album. Bit when LAD came out Biggie had turned the corner already and had become a complete artist. Plus the highs on on LAD >>>

Only track I ever skip on the album is Playa Hater. That's it. So many bangers on both discs :banderas:

He's right, the emotions you go through in LAD is unrivaled.

And he's right, Pac is rap personified.
