I got a big ass corner lot. Gotta cut the grass front and back. Gotta pull weeds front and back and that’s a constant thing. Gotta put down weedkiller. Gotta do the edging and trimming the hedges. I just had to plant new grass pods…had to put down new topsoil, til the land, plant the pods and water them in.

It’s basically an all daytime job on the weekends in the spring/summer months.

Depending on the region you live, you only have to do that once in the spring. Once everything gets going, by May all I usually have to do is keep the lawn cut and edged. Trimming the bushes is usually twice a year.

This old Polish guy in the neighborhood charges 35 a month for lawn service. Leaves, cleaning gutters, minor home & auto repairs. Pops usually buys him a 6 pack too cuz he’s pretty prompt.

Sometimes I wonder what we’ll do as a society once men like him have died. My generation (Gen X) doesn’t know how to do shyt as far as handy work

I know a AF veteran who showed up to the gym on the regular and he only had one leg and most coli brehs can't even do that.



I'd rather be a bytch for hiring @Another Man to do some chores I don't wanna do and enjoy my weekends than be a bytch who's when it's time to hit the pool and save them few measly bucks.

I live in Florida though. It’s a whole different level of lawn care required here. All types of tropical ass weeds that grow here. Gotta keep your soil content right, put nutrients/fertilizer and different
types of weedkillers.

My yard is big as fukk too.

I lived in West Palm Beach for two years and you're right. I wasn't use to all year lawn care lol

my time is money.

I can pay someone to cut my land or I can use that time to make money or level up in another way.

I'm the same breh. I make a good amount an hour and it would take me about 2hrs to cut and edge my yard. Or I can pay the Mexican breh $55 to do it for me. I've cut enough yards as a young breh without getting paid so I'm off it now. I look at it like I'm supporting small businesses

if you got it like that and it ain't hurting your pockets its all good to me. i like to do it for a quick workout, but if its some crazy big lawn, i would do it but on my schedule. like my mom house, i don't mind cutting her lawn front and back but she's retired and impatient and i work full time. i'm not dropping everything immediately cause you want it cut. i usually would do it on the weekends but she doesn't want to wait. so she brought a riding lawn mower and other lawn stuff, and does it during the week. it's her hobby now.
