It's still in our nature to make comparisons to get a grasp of something. Whether athletes, musicians, actors, writers, politicians, we just do. It's not really a problem until people use those comparisons to say the latter has to actually BE the former.

And 2011-18 is longer than 1991-96. And an artist doesn't have to wait till they're 10 albums deep and 10 years past their peak in relevancy to start being graded. They either belong on certain tiers or they don't.
