Think that clasping your hands together and talking at them with your eyes closed is gonna help you in any tangible way brehs. Why do you even have to clasp your hands together in the first place? To establish some sort of wifi connection? :mjlol:

Get your shyt together and do something about whatever it is that's buggin you instead of trying to dance around the problem by following the instructions of a murderous, incestuous and genocidal book written by goat herders.

This might just be the dumbest shyt I have ever read on the coli and that's saying a lot.
Read it in an article a while back. Didn't do too much research on it because I don't pray and have had personal experiences that prove the phenomenon for me.

Didn't find it dumb though, I believe it. There are much more unbelievable things that are real.

Everything can be explained. Things are only unbelievable because we don't know what is going. Once we see something we don't understand, we develop theories to better understand it. If something is proven to be bullshyt or way off, we discard it. We keep doing that until there is a concrete explanation for whatever happened. Whatever remains, however improbable, must be true.
That's called science.
Superstition, supernatural and religious shyt don't hold sway over logical individuals. Instead of praying, just figure out what's going on. It's much better than just hoping for shyt to happen.

I'm on my phone, so I don't feel like typing with my thumbs a proper reply.

For the most part, I agree. I think Science and Metaphysics, Mysticism, yadda yadda should all be used in conjunction. The name of the game is Duality. The way you win is by finding a balance between the opposing forces: positive and negative.

Metaphysics, science, alchemy, etc...are the pieces to the puzzle of finding balance. With that said, what good is one piece of a puzzle when the rest are still inside the box?

You're not really making sense breh. But.. as long as you feel like what you're doing is meaningful.. get it how you live:yeshrug:

Trust me, I know. I can't stand trying to explain shyt like this via texting. I was rushing and expected an aggressive reply.

What I was trying to say is basically, I don't think it's 'right' to try to understand the complexities of life while ignoring important teachings that help explain phenomena Science can't.

Prayer is talking to that unknowable being/energy/consciousness, whatever you want to call it... God.

It's better to be done with true selflessness & faith... & that unknowable being/energy/consciousness ALWAYS hears them & ALWAYS answers them.

But ask yourself, not WHAT are you praying for... but WHY...

If what you're praying for stems from a place that only helps SELF then no, it will not be given... if what you pray for is to help self help others then it is ALWAYS given.

For example... at one point in my life I was short $4,000 for me & my roommate at the time & we were about to get evicted. I wouldn't have cared to be homeless because I accept all that comes with my life but I understood my roommate did not have the same relationship I have with God & so I prayed for help, because it would've broken them & the very next week through what some would call crazy coincidences I came up on $4,000 EXACTLY, the day that we would've been homeless ended up being the day we moved into a brand new & much nicer apartment. All within the same week.

I speak to God no different than speaking to a Parent... as if in the same room... that is the level of relationship it desires to have with every one of its children.

WHY do you pray? For selfish desires? For others? To get yourself out of a jam so you can further continue a sinful lifestyle or so you can become closer to your Source? WHEN do you speak to God? Do you speak to God as often as you would speak to a family member or best friend? Or do you only speak to God when you NEED something?

Symbolically speaking... a lot of people thank God for things the Devil helped them achieve. Knowing the difference when what you've done comes from a place of Good from a place of Self will undistort how Prayer works in the eyes of many if they chose to pay attention.

The reason Prayer doesn't work for many is because there is no true belief behind it... & God cannot be mocked.

If you Pray without TRUE faith, you might as well have remained Silent...

No. The only thing religion does is appeal to people who're low down because it allows them to surrender personal responsibility and instead place it on a non-existent invisible dude in the sky, who then becomes responsible for everything good or everything bad to happen to you. I know it myself. I had a religious phase in my teens because I was really unhappy with my life and I found some solace in it. Then I grew up, owned myself, took responsibility for myself, became happy and threw that shyt to the bushes.

Similar thing happened with my aunt, her husband died and she turned Christian because it appealed to her in her grief and loneliness.
