Other than warriors players who's elite on the west?who are the elite players in the East ? yeah right, none.![]()
C'mon you're smarter than this. I already covered how the top players that were in the East had GMs who couldn't put more talent around them. Any star needs talent around him. Lebron has been the only star in the East lucky enough to have other stars around them. How are we defining contender here?
People always do these gymnastics to try to make the West seem so much better. In the last 13 years you got 6 champs from the East and 7 from the West. If the West was really that much stronger then the Finals would be a forgone conclusion every year like it was at the turn of the century when you did indeed have 3 or 4 West teams better than the best East team. West has a stronger middle class but when it comes to contenders there are usually 3 at most in a given year. A lot of these West "contenders" are gimmicks or regular season squads that aren't really built for the playoffs or always hurt in the playoffs and belief perseverance and bias makes people keep pumping them up while ignoring these issues. If the Raptors got blown out at home in an elimination game with Bron not playing (after losing a close game that he missed the final minute and OT) every thread would be "Leastern Conference" or "Cake Walk" etc. Since it happened out West it's not reflection on the conference. When West squads run through the West with 3 or 4 or fewer Ls they are just that great. When East teams, that go on to win the chip, get pushed to 6 or 7 in the East people keep pushing the "cakewalk" stuff. Also we gotta make up our minds here. If the East is that weak and guys like Kyrie and Melo and Bosh in Toronto and Wade the 4 years before Bron arrived are so good, how are these cats missing the playoffs or first round fodder? A lot of intellectual dishonesty gets pushed and a lot of cognitive dissonance gets exposed in regards to this subject.
ur comparing MVP candidates to that two Raptors ? i consider Kawhi an elite player he is an elite defender and a good scorerOther than warriors players who's elite on the west?
Seems all of them choke when it's crunch time no different than Lowry or Derozen
beat this man ? you sound like him alone is playingThe point I'm trying to make is that Bron on pretty much any playoff team creates a gap in talent opposed to the teams he faces.
The whole league knows this which is why KD took his talents to Golden State.
Every team that has beat Bron has had a collection of future hall of famers on the roster. That's literally what it takes to beat this man and as you can see they're are hard to come by.

You set forth a criteria. I challenged it by applying it to other instances, where it should apply if it's valid. It doesn't, therefore it isn't. That isn't moving goalposts. Moving goalposts if going from "different teams making the Finals proves the conference is harder" to "none of those different teams won shyt" when called on it.
Old JKidd and Jason Terry breh?
shyt even the two San Antonio teams Hall of Famers were past their prime and no longer playing at that level and a Kawhi that was just starting to come in to his own.Old JKidd and Jason Terry breh?
And all time Scorer Dirk?
Y'all really discounting the competition in his losses and I consider 2011 a bad Finals loss as well.
Lebron ain't perfect. His career tells you that but the dude has been dominant for all intent and purposes for most of his career and it takes very talented rosters to end his playoff runs.

I think teams like Memphis, Clippers, OKC (before this year), GS, and Spurs have all been better than the second best teams in the east. I never had faith in the Rockets as a playoff team but I think they'd comfortably be the second best team in the east as well.
You brought up turn of the century teams though. No one was talkin about them nikkaz.
