In the post game presser Danny Green said the switching on screens is what they're going to most likely go with in the playoffs so yes, the game means something in that the Spurs were able to test out the strategy of switching and see it was somewhat effective.

Curry got a 3 blocked for the first time this season and proceeded to go BMF on the rest of his 3s

Other than that, ehh:manny:

I don't care what anyone says. This game meant everything to the spurs. Because what's worst than acting like this game means nothing for the spurs, is if they would have lost this game with all those players out on they home floor. It would have been mentally demoralizing to the spurs to lose this game with all things in their favor on their own floor. Warriors can walk away with somewhat a moral victory. But now spurs can walk away feeling like all we have to do is get 1 in golden state because we own them here.

The warriors are too good of a team for any team to properly analyze in a couple reg season game. They are a Rubic cube that can only be solved in a 7 game series.

whatchu mean? Is there another gohan ssj2 potential on this spurs squad I'm missing? :ohhh:
Boban?:merchant:
Im talking about Aldridge. I think dude is capable of even more then what he showed tonight. If you saw Houston-Portland, 2 years back, then you know what Im talking about. He can do more then put up a solid 25.

Yeah maybe Boban too :merchant:

Because in this particular scenario, San Antonio has a deeper team all around. Cavs suffer more because 2 of their stars were injured. Spurs won't suffer as much because they have guys ready to step up off the bench.

My thing is, I don't see what this has to do with my op. I'm tryna get opinions on whether or not ya'll think the Spurs are hype off of this win or are they looking at it the way I described in the op.

No idea where you're even tryna go with your posts brah .
He's saying that it's hypocritical to insert Golden State's missing role players as the reason for losing tonight when that didn't matter for their Finals victory over Cleveland when their second best player was J.R. Smith due to missing their #2 and #3 scorers. It's not about the Spurs.

In your OP you specifically asked "Is this really a win for S.A."?

Why would you ask that?

You already said that The Warriors really won the title last year right? Even though they beat an injured squad though right?

Then what's the need for asking this question about the Spurs if you aren't trying to trivialize their win and take away credit for it?

The answer is that this Spurs win means something to the extent that the Warriors' championship last year and this season's regular season record means anything for this year's playoffs.
