How are they part time rappers with writing teams and early 00s rap footage...where they rapped, in battle format?
They're RAPPERS who use pitch correction "singing" songs written by separate teams.

nikkas in the studio with a notepad and a beat actually writing by themselves.
6lack, Tory, and (other Canadian) always rapped. Can any of those nikkas bust out a full gospel song in a southern church with no accompaniment? No.
Can they battle somebody face to face with no prep or writtens? Maybe 6lack.

Am im the only one here that thinks this is a good battle? I'm seeing people here not being impressed and I don't get why.

I wouldn't classify this battle on the level of a Nas vs Jay Z, Jada vs Beans, etc but in the modern landscape? This has been a good back n forth, one of the best we seen in awhile. It's too much nitpicking/analysises going on here. Just enjoy the battle and choose the winner after it's over.

Y'all wanna call Don Q generic and boring only because he's a throwback to all the NY rappers in the underground/Smack era. That style of rapping is outdated for some of y'all but in a battle that's how Don gotta rap and how he always rapped.

I'm not from NY either so don't come at me with that NY bias shyt.

Tory Lanez on the other hand is a dope rapper but bites alot. It is what it is. I'm not gonna take that away from him

Don Q is barred up on the second diss but it’s missing something. I think he’s just not saying enough hard hitting shyt, it’s more just really good bars but nothing that’ll make Tory re-evaluate his life or make him look crazy which is what diss records are about imo.

I really think it’s his delivery breh..It’s not sharp enough..he had a bunch of dope lines but not any haymakers..He needs to go get some tips from Nitty/Roc/Twork on how to shake the room

I think your overrating some of the Smack DVD rappers...Yeah, they were some greats that were apart of that movement (Saigon, Grafth, Pap, Stacks, Millz, Joell) but not all of them were that good fam.

Shea Davis was terrible.
Jae Hood was ass
Maino was weak

It's more....I cant think off the top but the fact Don isn't on any rappers level in the Smack days is a bit of a stretch because there were some nikkas on there that had no business rapping.
