I've seen the same "I didn't know he could rap like this" statement made with the same
even though he has battle footage (with stolen bars) online...mixtapes full of rap songs (a lot with stolen bars) and more. nikka is a RAPPER (with a team of writers) who SINGS (with pitch correction only) and people pretend to not know this has been the case for a decade +.
Nobody's really caught up in the moment.

Thats what I saying to my boy. Tory a rapper who can sing and not vice versa.

I liked Don over the Burn instrumental, he was spitting....nothing really scathing but he a better rapper than Tory for sure.

Don Q sounds like every generic mixtape rapper from NY and Tory Lanez sounds like a diet Drake. I mean....he even rapped over his beat, which was shameless. I wouldn't say either side definitively won....but it's crazy to me that people don't even give a fukk Tory Lanez is doing his best Drake impersonation. Like, that's not even a factor?

He's not similar. Kool G Rap is a 5-7 syllable rapper, Don Q's pocket is the "3 syllable jadakiss" approach. Their delivery is nothing alike, at all.

That's an angle I didn't even consider. "Duppy" lost Drake that battle. So there's really no reason to use that beat, unless he was trying to redeem Canada. And even then, dude rapped like Drake on it....so I'm confused.

I never even commented on his cadence on the diss either so I dunno what to tell you. I was only commenting on his beat selection for this battle , not whether or not duppy was a W or an L for drake when it dropped
