If you ever have seen these people you'd understand. Most are awkward, autistic types who discovered politics 4 months ago. This @JudgeJoeGorilla guy for example is a scrawny crosseyed weirdo that hasn't spoken to a girl other than his mother in his life.

Ordinarily I'd be worried, but as one breh on here said, there's too much sunlight between these dudes basements and the voting booths for them to come out on Election Day. Instead they can seek validation online with hashtags like #MAGA and troll for awhile to feel like they belong to something social until Trump gets curbstomped in November and they forget about politics and return to jacking off to anime porn.
so well put :wow: :banderas:

Believe what Trump says brehs. He's a fukking liar who would sell his soul to get into office.
So I trust you also don't believe he wants to build a wall or ban all muslims from entering the United States? Or is it that he's only telling the truth when he says stuff you don't like?

I don't think he's super serious about the wall but that he would even mention it, is a negative on his character and adds to his persona as a demagogue fascist.

How are you pitting him as a demagogue fascist if you don't believe a word he's saying? Why would whatever fascist things he's been saying (and I would like examples of them, please) add to his character, yet the anti-war rhetoric gets dismissed out of hand as pathological lies? I'm just trying to understand the metric by which you're judging his character.

The metric I'm judging his character is by the statement he makes. Whether it's a lie or not doesn't matter. The fact that he makes them is what puts him into that category. If it makes you feel better should I call him a pacifist fascist? I mean what the hell are YOU arguing here?

This nikka went from a bernie sanders support to a trump one:mjlol:
@JudgeJoeGorilla this is the ignorance you witness when you talk politics in TLR :jbhmm:

Trump and Bernie share a few of the same opinions on policy, just because one is to the right and the other to the left doesn't mean their opinions on individual policy can't occupy a similar position on the spectrum, (an example being Corporate trade agreements that ship jobs overseas e.g Obama's TPP, TISA, TTIP). They appeal to anti-establishment sentiments, an establishment that Clinton represents.

Hate 'em or love 'em Trump brought a lot more eyeballs to this election season, and you can guarantee if he gets in office the world would be watching his every step and scrutinizing his policies, he heightens the contradictions. If people elect Clinton, the narrative for the majority would be that they defeated the "bad guy" and can go back to sleep and we return to our usual modus operandi of no one in TLR (and society at large) giving a shyt about politics or policy.

A pacifist fascist doesn't sound too bad imo :heh:. But fascism is one of the most overused/misunderstood words in modern political lexicon, so I don't put too much stock in the attempts to try and paint Trump as a fascist.

What I'm arguing is that Donald Trump is actually espousing a pretty coherent political ideology; isolationist populism. All his policy proposals and rhetoric can be pretty accurately transposed into that worldview. I don't believe his consistent and sustained anti-war rhetoric is a ruse. He's been saying it from the jump, and it was a pretty big political risk to say so. Hillary Clinton is the more dangerous candidate w/r/t international stability and peace. I just don't see a coherent reason to support Clinton over Trump if you're a member of the underclass. If you're a hedgefund manager, industrialist, or a 1%-ers then you should be salivating at a Hillary presidency tho.
