general curiosity, I'm trying to parse out what you might have done to make yourself a mark for dirty cops since you've been on their radar so many times.

You are one of the most dangerous ways of thinking against black agency and independence.

Don't listen to this fakkit.

No your rights, don't say anything during a stop and do not consent to a thing.

fukk you to hell for even pushing that garbage

Breh,

Being Black in America is enough, you ALREADY know this!

I actually agree but he's suggesting that consenting to a search is what would make me a mark when the reality is that, my skin color did that before I was pulled over.

Just remain silent and tell them that you can’t/won’t answer any questions. Also record them with your phone and get their names and ID numbers. Ideally you’ll have a dash cam.

Don’t tell them that you’re just trying to get home, as this guy suggests. If you’re going in a different direction than what is shown on your ID, they’ll say you’re lying. Or if the address on your ID is not up to date, that’s a ticket right there.

And if For some reason you agree to let them search your car, you can always tell them to stop, and they have to.

As long as you know the law and what you’re obligated to do and not obligated to do, don’t worry being non-compliant. This is America and we have rights. Don’t let the police trample all over them because you might be afraid.

He is not technically wrong but as many have said this won't necessarily work if you black. Particularly a black male so you really need to be careful. Still good tips though.

  • Stop the car in a safe place as quickly as possible. Turn off the engine, turn on the internal light, open the window part way, and place your hands on the wheel.
  • Upon request, show the police your driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance.
  • If an officer asks to look inside your car, you can refuse. But if police believe your car contains evidence of a crime, they can search it without your consent.
  • Both drivers and passengers have the right to remain silent. If you're a passenger, you can ask if you're free to leave.
  • If you are stopped for suspicion of driving under the influence, you may refuse a sobriety test, which may result in later consequences such as fines and fees. However if you do refuse a sobriety test, the police officer must read an "Implied Consent Warning" that outlines possible consequences of refusing to submit to a test.
  • You do not have to answer questions about your immigration status

I do a variation of this. Turn the car off, phones, keys, wallet insurance and registration on the dash. Then roll all windows down while placing my hands on the wheel. This process has gotten me out of at least 5 legitimate tickets. Shout out to the white boys for teaching me this one.

Him consenting to a search, INCREASES the likelihood that he becomes a MARK.

A cop planting evidence, may ONLY come to that idea, AFTER searching his car and NOT finding shyt!

- no, I don't.
2. Can we search your car?
- yes
3. Where are you coming from?
- I'll tell them wherever I'm coming from
4. Do you know why I pulled you over?
- no, I don't.

You took your own advice, now you're sitting on the curb while they tear through your car. How'd that work out for you?

If I consent to a search, I understand that a search will follow.

Get the F out of here. What I have done is being born Black, that is what I have done. That is all it takes for some people to indict you. Now I know you are a White man cosplaying out here. I am a former Military Officer, with a Masters Degree in Economics. I have made over 150k a year before my illness. Do you think any of that was some protection from being harrassed here and there? No. What was protection is knowing my Rights, having contacts in the Legal field, and having a clean record that made it impossible for any corrupt cop to stick anything on me. Still, that did not stop some corrupt cops from being corrupt, and it never will.

Here you are out here trying to imply what I experienced had to be my fault. WS do that shyt everyday, and your attempt has proven to me that you are an agent of WS. So you finally pulled your mask off.
