Y'all gotta stop this revisionist history with Wilks. The brother was not good. I lost my voice screaming at the defense multiple times last year. He was not the answer. Neither is Sorenson. We gotta move on.

Yeah, the fact Sorensen is the worst DC we've had since Eric Mangini (remember those days ) has really made some brehs try to paint Wilks as a piece we should've kept. I honestly don't see it, his defense relied almost 100% on turnovers and that's not something that carries year to year, everything else was mediocre at best. Thing is though, mediocre at best is still miles better than the bullshyt we've had to endure with Sorensen.

If the argument is "we'd be better defensively this year if Wilks stays", I don't really have a rebbutal. My counter argument would go another way, in the sense that we'd probably still be scratching and clawing to fight for a WC spot (and get destroyed in the postseason) and he'd still would've gotten fired after year 2.
