Can we get some thread going to counterbalance this? All I see is negativity on here about marriage but yet I know cats are in healthy loving aspiring marriages. If cats don't want to get marriage cool, and whatever. But the cats that have found their queens and having wonderful lives need to hear from y'all.

Kind of tired of the cynical woes me it happened takes. It happened to me so must be bad for everyone else takes on here.

I ain't going lie it's been a lot of weddings this year cause of covid. It's going to be an interesting next decade.

The year before it was a gang of divorces because of covid. Different cast, same script.

People that really weren't meant to be found out when being quarantined, and on the other side people found out they can be stuck inside 24/7 with their partners and live in harmony.

I’m a year into marriage and it’s been a blessing in many different ways. We came together by letting the Lord direct our path and its been peace I never had while single.

I hate to hear you going through this OG. You the last one I woulda thought would post something like this but I do understand your feelings with how your explaining the situation.

My only advice, to both men and women seeking the possibility of marriage or currently married is to keep the Lord in your relationship/marriage at all times. If you don’t, I can promise you something else WILL come in place and most likely take the peace of the marriage you built and prayed for.

Not gonna happen anytime soon, chief. Average age of posters on here is like 20. Remember what YOU were like at that age? Unless there's a push from a celebrity on Social Media, they ain't trying to hear wisdom from those of us who've experienced positive marriages. They'll ALWAYS resort to "Divorce rate is 50%!!!!", but forget about the 50% that DON'T divorce, or, "She's not taking half my stuff!!!", but forget that she ain't going anywhere if you treat her right.

For them, outliers > averages.
