yupI have to say I was thinking about this exact moment when reading this article. It felt like this was the moment where Ja was completely losing it in the public (commercial) eye. However, I also remember thinking, "damn, 50 has everybody s***ting on Ja now." I remember the kid in the audience saying something about people being tired of the singing. I'm probably not remembering his exact words correctly, but I do remember that at the time thinking the reaction to the song was a product of 50 smearing Ja's name/career. That video debut was in 2003, and 50 already had the whole Back Down diss and Wanksta video mocking Ja getting his chain snatched in 2002.
Regardless, I definitely remember feeling like the debut of that video was a standout moment in Ja's downfall.
thats what i was talkin bout
hey...
i wont sit here and front like 50 didnt have ANYTHING to do with this mans fall off with the public
but you gotta understand, i literally watched people go from "what would i be without my bay-baaaaaaay!"

to
"this fukkin guy again?"

and that aint have shyt to do with 50 Cent being an amatuer in hypnosis

Ja's demise is simple; Irv Gotti and nem were on trial for drug trafficking and the game moved on while he fell back.
