All these years later we're still talking about that firebombing jamie gave him![]()
Jamie said since he saw him bombing that he was trying to help him get going. He thought that maybe if they start snapping each other he would get into a flow and not bomb. But that didn't happen

This is how i feel about it too. nikkas been programmed to accept all the social norms and clutch their pearls when it comes to old school comedy. This was painful to watch - that wasn’t Jamie’s fault. His set was dirt and he effed up miserably. Jaime was just doing what he does. That wack ass comedian Trying to come for him set his own self up for that. Embarrassing backfire.
He’s the one who started roasting Jamie first- he put that energy out there himself. If you look at Jamie’s reaction, Jamie was like wtf. Then instead of being on his toes with a comeback - Doug let his emotion outride the comedy. How did Doug get up there as a newcomer and think he can roast a comedian heavy in the game that could possibly help out your career or look out, in front of a roomful of other comedians that support Jamie. 20 yrs later, he’s still mad - he just needs someone to blame. Bottom line, dude wasnt that funny before Jamie started going in on him - he was bombing. Comedy wasnt his calling if someone could end your “career” before it starts. This is how i feel about it too. nikkas been programmed to accept all the social norms and clutch their pearls when it comes to old school comedy.
