has to be more strategic than that... but yes it should involve that, but with cameras and weapons.... I don't know where u live but in my state, brothas still can walk the street w rifles ---- and some do ---it's just that usually they are going to kill a young black girl or guy.

Beyond that , our #1 should be education for youth, imo. Then technology, imo. Technology isn't only the future of everything - the average salary is pretty good across the board --- also it's the industry with the least chance that u will face certain barriers.

Also I just think people should play their individual roles with the same goal in mind - creating an economic force. Education that instills a sense of pride and looks at pretty much everything from our perspective. I you're kid is holding onto the notion that Colombus discovered America and you are unable to give an account of what kind of man Columbus really was, you're losing. If you're child isnt learning in a way that will facillitate him using what he learns to feed his family, you're losing. Obviously, not everyone is going to have their own business but if you arent making money on the side doing something you're good at, you're losing. Multiple streams of income should be an ideal part of your childs education. If you're allowing your child to become absorbed in a culture of spending that will leave him with nothing to show but a couple grand in the bank *maybe* you're losing. If you're teaching your child to become so self centered that when you become an elderly man there is no one to take care of you and slide you some ends, you're losing. If you're child is being educated to demean women of his own race because of a couple broken hearts, you're losing. If you're surrounded by losers whos children or presence interfere with your childs development, you're losing.

Meritorious Manumission act of 1710 is the single most damaging act ever passed by Congress other than slavery. This act made it where blacks would see things from a white society perspective. It destroyed the sense of community, trust, and altruism in the black community. It promoted Individualism over helping each other & at the same time hurting black people to get rewarded.

1. Present day blacks refuse to speak about black issues in fear of upsetting whites...this keeps their checks coming at the expense of poor black people...while making a profit for their owners.

2. Present day blacks promote negative images & music of black people in order to get paid. We call it selling out today.

3. Present day blacks uphold white culture/property and dislike their own. They promote & love white culture/property because they get 'the feeling of acceptance' from it, while never opening businesses in their own communities or hoods.

4. Present day blacks are told to transcend race. this means that you need to EARN your way into white society by doing 'good deeds'. Thats either protecting the myth of white supremacy/culture, inventing or Doing something whites can profit from, never starting a slave revolt or in present day helping black people by freeing them of economic slavery.

Sounds a lot like the Boule'... which about majority of these black entertainers, rappers are connected to.

well basically the brother wrote a book back in 2002 called black economics. speaks on the solutions for black america, motivating the youth. Characteristics of an colony such as :

- low per capita income
-high birth rate
-high infant mortality rate
-indigenous entrepreneurship is limited.

I posted those vids in the Documentary thread in HL. What I can say about the white man is that he knows how to capitalize on an idea and make a dollar. I listen to the dude Dave Ramsey and he basically says the same thing Dr. Kunjufu is saying in those vids except he does it everyday for 3 hours a day on radio. He wrote a few books about it and became a best seller. It's the EXACT same message though, right down to the 15 year fixed rate mortgage.

you're right about this not only those of the Caucasian Race but i find this in the Business of Asians and how they are able to do the same thing in the black community. feel we need to be just a resourceful.

I think that's why it's so important we as a group get our finances in order. I'd like to be able to provide my daughter her first job in a business that I started, rather than have her trying to compete with everyone seeking a minimum wage job. It seems like every new generation has to start from scratch and find their own way to make it. Even if parents saved a little towards education. Thank you, I sincerely appreciate that. I certainly try to live by the separate but equal philosophy. I know how difficult it can be trying to find a job or going to some job you hate and if my daughter doesn't have to go through that, I'd feel good. Options are the best thing you can have in life and money will afford you them so being smart with my money has become my number one priority. I'm trying to create some generational wealth.

As far as others not adopting that philosophy, I don't think that stops with just women. We as black people just like to spend. It's been said we don't have the discipline to save money and I just blame that on the impact of slavery. I mean when you're used to not having anything, Whatever you were deprived of becomes valued. Instead of the hottest phone or sneakers, we should have the hottest building, business or school on the block. There's no reason a large group of us are renting from white landlords. We should have African american owned everything that a white person has. We just need to expand our thinking a little...a lot
