I think i only got a few hours into new game + before i was like whats the point? Lol

Its not like the story was that great or there’s multiple routes to go

I basically ran around putting down port crystals and getting trophies I missed, but mainly because if dlc drops and you gotta be a certain part in the story I didn't wanna start fresh to get there

I touched on it earlier but i felt there was a big missed opportunity with the main pawn; should've made him/her a fully fleshed out character, romance-able, and an integral plot point like the Guardian was in BG3. From the time spent in character creation to all the leveling up and battles, we were more emotionally invested in our pawn creation than the generic archer chick they gave our mc.

Even the whole idea of what pawns are and them essentially being slaves liable to be abused, could've been a better and major ongoing plot point with real emotion behind it. Like, dragonsplague could've been a subplot about them gaining free will/autonomy and the impact on your relationship with your pawn.

As far as replaying, I would go play other stuff first maybe come back in a few months
Hopefully there's DLC

The entire relationship/romance system needs to be bushed if we’re keeping it 100%

I went half way through my NG+ just to go beast mode on mobs that were plaguing me before. 60+ hours in and I haven't even faced Medusa yet.

This is probably why they DIDNT let you romance your pawn. Imagine the “sex slave” headlines if you could actually do so

But I’d say the whole pawn concept is poorly constructed anyway as a plot point.

Maybe it was more fleshed out/made more sense to those of y’all who played the prior games but the way it was laid out, just felt like arbitrary multiverse slaves that obey my will bc I’m that nygga.

Could’ve just kept them as traditional adventurers looking to form parties or whatever. Have you fight other parties.

Bothers me more when they come back with scars, they go away on their own but it takes too long, so I can't help but travel to the hot springs to get rid of them asap. Don't know what these other Arisen are doing
