ive been benching since 7th grade, im coming up on my 10 year high school graduation :flabbynsick:, years before youtube was even around, let alone popular. Everyone benched to the chest. This was before the new age google/bodybuilders.com/youtube/cross fit crowd came around :francis:

just like I aint see people squatting for a decade until cross fit people started making this "Ass to grass" squatting popular

Two and a half struggle reps of 250 lb. on the Smith machine means he can probably put up 3 clean reps of a 2 plate bench.

That's not bad for him since he's most likely not a gym rat and it's not like he had an athletic base, he was a child actor so it's pretty much guaranteed he played no sports as a kid / teen.

I used to be 5'8 260 and pushed 365/Squatted 550/Pulled 525 in High School but I ain't about that powerlifting life no more

Just tryna look good af and lead a healthy lifestyle.

Been there where I'm the strong fatboy in the gym shyt ain't fun, lookin buff and having abs (I ain't never had abs in my life before it feels good) >>>

Used to never be able to dip even my own bodyweight or do a pullup so this is serious improvement for me

Lowkey I'm so nice to people in my gym, old, young, I always help people and always try to give people positive reinforcement and encouragement. I've noticed a lot of haters since I've shredded down, like skinny dudes that are mad cause I went from fat to swole and they're still stuck in the skinny regime, or fat guys that are still fat and mad I dropped the weight and kept it moving (dudes will try to lift next to me tryna show me up lold)

Real talk the truest way to be successful in the gym is to be willing to carry the fire inside of you and keep your heart pumping through the bullshyt. Steroids don't help, workout programs don't help, advice from other people don't help, carry Heart and complete your goals

It's all about improving yourself, not competing with some random nobodies you don't even know

Physically/Mentally/Spiritually

Drake played youth hockey and he played a basketball player as an actor and I've seen him ball seem like he got decent game form on his jumper is a little unorthodox though. :yeshrug:

If you can't bench 225 for 12 reps on the regular than you can't talk shyt about the smith machine.

Didn't bother to sit and read through the whole thread, but just my 2 cents, Number 1, the smith machine bar is NOT 45 pounds and number 2, the smith machine is using air to help you with your press and bringing the bar down. her is no where near 295 and number 3, his form is TURRIBLE!!!

I just checked his insta for some gametapes ... it looks like he can hit some shots, but that form screams "I started playing basketball as an adult". If he ever played on school teams or even just regularly at the park, he wouldn't have kept that weird form.
