- Opens doors and changes perceptions.
- subconsciously makes you look fell"important" to other folks.
- It makes you look more affluent.
- Better quality broads will take you into consideration like.
This too. It also makes you a target for begging ass mutha fuccas on the street.already wear suits daily for work...
i've found it actually yields a lot of unsolicited/unwanted attention and stares, especially if you're dark-skinned
To me, this was the whole mindset behind "respectability" and "respectability politics" that the talented tenth championed and that so many sjw nowadays say doesn't work.
Obviously, there are exceptions to everything, but this as a mentality is what separated many of the successful black families from the rest and continuously does so today.
Respectability doesn't stop racism. But it changes perceptions. More importantly, perceptions of ourselves and our own abilities.
you arent lying
its the difference from being ignored to being acknowledged

Man, you are looking at it from a square perspective. I'm talking about getting money and getting at biitches.
Like I said earlier there was this hustling dude that was we talking about how he stole $2,000 in cash and like five credit cards in a office building and got no suspicious looks because he was dressed appropriately !!!
It's not exactly square but correlates with what you were saying. The mentality allowed the talented tenth to get better access to monetary opportunities and the pick of the litter when it came to black women.
What the hell are you talkin about Niggga
!No to all that.
You are trying to please others... If that is your look then go for it but fashion never had one wave. Originality is always key.
The man makes the clothes... Never live your life in a way where you are trying to make others comfortable. Fashion is about being true to self.
