Drew Brees is going to pass Peyton for most passing yards in the next two weeks....

It does because if the numbers were reversed and Peyton had season B and Brees had season A, who would the media have given MVP to then? It's not a hard answer lol.

Manning's name value and golden boy aura gave him the award that year. It's apples and oranges when you really crunch their numbers that season I know. But it's obvious the media went with their golden boy QB when if it boils down to stats that close, you simply should go with the one who was better, no matter how little his "better" was than the other person.

But Peyton is Peyton so they were like " :yeshrug:, we gotta give our future GOAT Peyton his 3rd MVP !"

Bill Simmons (I guess as a Pats fan you can say he was biased) was the only one calling out the media for this too.
So you're just not going to respond to my point.

Brees performance on the road is my only knock against him and why I would put Brady, arod and Peyton over him.

I remember too many times the offense stinking it up on the road and especially in cold weather.

1) Brees is better than Peyton

2) If what Brees is doing is so easy than everyone would be doing it, they aren't

3) Brees has been equal to or straight up better than Rodgers for the last 3 years

4) Brees has never had the defensive help that Brady has had

5) Brady might have bad defenses every now and then, Brees has had the absolute worst defenses in NFL HISTORY consistently
:shaq2::dahell:nah fam. Don't try to rewrite shyt. Peyton never had a defenses or a good coach after dungy. Still has more MVPs and ringd and appearances. Yall niggsz be disrespecting the G.O.A.T :camby:

Brees has volume stats, efficiency stats, intangibles, and beat Peyton to win the Super Bowl

There's no argument you could make putting Peyton over Brees
Peyton threw a bad pass and his bumass special teams fukked up a onside kick. Did you watch the game. :why:

I don't think what you posted showcased some huge wrongdoing. Shoot...they both faced off in the Super Bowl.

Home and Away splits to me show the stark difference. Manning although in the dome was a winner away from home while brees is barely above .500.
Aaron Rodgers is exactly .500 on the road so what you think about him? :gucci:

It's almost like winning on the road in the NFL is hard :gucci:

Wanna know another way the media crowns golden boys.

Take a look at these stats for one season:

A. 393/571, 68.8% completion, 4,500 yards passing, 33 TDs, 16 INTs, 13-3 record

vs

B. 363/514, 70.6% completion, 4,388 yards passing, 34 TDs, 11 INTs, 2 rushing TDs, 13-3 record

Amazing seasons by both, but if you had to pick, who from those two would you pick for MVP?

Breaking: Peyton was A. Brees was B. Surprise surprise on who the media went with. Wonder who led his team to the Super Bowl victory that year.

I'm not going to allow you to post lies friend. :usure:

Indy went 14-2 that year, they did not go 13-3. Indy started 14-0 that year with Manning. They lost game #15 vs the Jets because they pulled Peyton. They lost game #16 because they sat Peyton.
Indy had a real chance to go undefeated that year until Polian/Dungy pussed out on us.

There is no shock that Peyton won that year, since the MVP award is always heavily based on team record. Indy had the better record even though they threw 2 games.

Try again.

If the Dolphins dont get scared because of his physical, Saban and Brees would have knocked the Pats off :sas2:

Manning: 9380 Career pass attempts. Brees: 9423 Career pass attempts. Favre 10169 Career pass attempts.

Brees has already thrown more passes than Peyton. I was more impressed when Manning broke Favre's record because he did it in less attempts. Brees will also beat Favre, but can't touch Manning.

The Big 4 QBs defenses ranked 1-32 according to points per drive surrendered since 2001 not counting 2011 for Peyton or 2008 for Brady

Brady: 9

Peyton: 17

Rodgers: 16

Brees: 22

Drew Brees' defense in 2003, 2012, 2014, 2015, and 2016 were all 31st or 32nd ranked in the NFL in Defensive Points Per Drive.

As of week 1 2017 Brady's had a top 10 defense 10 times in 15 seasons, Peyton had a top 10 defense 4 times in 17 seasons, and even Rodgers has had a top ppd defense 3 times in 9 seasons

Brees has had a top 10 points per drive defense ONCE in 15 years

Brady the most overated qb ever, he has a strong arm ill give him that, other than that he a product of cheating and belli (basically the same thing) , if Belli had stayed with the Jets chad pennington wouldve had a couple rings. Matt cassel 11-5 brehs

So. Cal
Muthafukkas in here talking defenses for brees like he the only elite qb who has to over come shytty defense :mjlol:

Theres only one qb whos defense has allowed an AVG of 32+ points a game in the playoffs since 2012 and it aint brees

And once again its DUMB to count wins as a qb trait. Thats 1000% a team trait. Yall put wayyyyyy too much into qbs when it comes to wins and losses.

A qb can throw 4+tds and still lose a damn game.

This a dumb argument. Aaron rodgers stats on the road are damn near identical at home (with home stats being slightly better).

That means he performs well on the road but the TEAM loses.

Sorry...but to be a barely .500 won qb on the road has a lot to do with leaving the confinea of the dome. Peyton’s teams were much better on the road as a result of his play. It matters in this case
