:laff:

But BMWs have the best handling there is. I had to take my best friends BMW 5 series for an entire year due to his messed up driving record (which he was forbidden to drive) and I was running through stop lights, through stop signs, drag racing, cutting corners, and all kinds of amazing stories.

MB premium sports package AMG or 4matic >>>>> bmw 5 m series. Let's find out - race you in times square, what's the worst that could happen?

If only lexus made a crossover as nice as the x1 or x3
Only if BMW or Benz made cars that could last past 130k with no major problems :mjlol:

@Nicole0416 Imagine buying a Lexus and it lasting for decades with no big problems :krs: in my 2 1/2 years as a mechanic apprentice, I’ve never seen a post 90s BMW with over 200k

Seen countless Acura, Lexus Infiniti tho..saw a 97’ TL with 340k

uninspired, under performing ugly pieces of domestic rubbish. No trill when you step on the pedal....no inspiration in its design, no joy as you cut the apex in a tight turn.a car with no resolve or intuition:scust:

A common car made for well...a commoner.

Everywhere...You never there.
I agree with that, but I don’t think most people consider it on the same tier with Audi/BMW etc. It’s not on that Euro level but it’s clean enough to pull up in the lot and still hop out proud. To me personally it’s a good alternative to all the muscle cars on the street now. You can’t drive down the block without seeing a Camaro/Challenger in my city. That’s the neighborhood my check was in but I didn’t want to look like everybody else. So I copped a Lex. On my 2nd one now, and the shyt is a tank. I’m a GM V8 head all day, in a perfect world I’d push a 96 Impala around all day. But that shyt isnt practical, you need a good daily and real shyt ima keep a Lex as a daily driver for the rest of my days. Not even touching the reliability part, I usually save up and cash out. No other car brand I can catch a 6-8 year old one with 100K plus on the odometer and still get a good deal for a reliable car that won’t give me issues. I’ve been sold on Lexus. brehs is bringing that 90’s shyt back, Lexus are en vogue as a hood getting money car again.

Well said ...and that Camaro/Challenger wave gotta stop. Really tho.

BMW headlights are the same as everyone elses breh, I have worked on them and even opened them up.

And you can change the oil on a BMW, but you cannot check the oil level. It has a digital oil level gauge that basically just says "oil low". Could be a quart low or could be 5 quarts low... you won't know until the mechanic says you need an engine replacement :manny:

Dont get me wrong, my next whip is probably gonna be a 335i but man BMW got you looking crazy out here :pachaha: Crystals and rare metals in a $35K 320i :mjlol:

i wasnt referring to bmw.

the S-class and some of the new benz headlight assemblies have Swarovski Optik crystals in them....a bit factitious, yes.

Swarovski Optiks makes lens for binoculars and telescopes that cost $$$$$$$ so :yeshrug:

:gucci: you change your oil every 5000km on schedule and your fine :gucci: if your topping up, yeah check the electronic guage. if anything was to ever happen to the oil sensor the car will let you know before it even gets to that point :gucci:

Impressive.....the both have similar performances in racing.

except at the track though, those AMGS are pretty much just linear rockets, good for drags and straight lines and not much else until you get some really expensive tires, gearing and a different suspension set-up. nikkas stay spinning out in their c63s at turn 4 and every other corner at the track; too much tire spin.

"a car is a car".. u cant be serious, nah, not at all. "Imagine paying $400 TO REPLACE THE GAWDDAMN HEADLIGHT".. yeah but also imagine not having to pay $1400 every two months on car repairs for your domestics with limited warranty after it reaches a certain mileage or thousands of dollars on transmission replacement, bc its horribly built. Also imagine driving a bmw/benz for years and years with no major repairs as long as you keep up with the maintenance as opposed to paying thousands of dollars on your American made after a year of steady driving on a car that loses drivability year after year. Then imagine not having to spend money on an oil change every 3mos or 3000 miles, as opposed to 1 yr or 10000 miles for your bmw/benz. Lastly, imagine the hundreds of dollars that you will save each year by not having to get an uber, cab, train bc you're car repairs are worth more than the actual car and it's not worth having it.

Now what is this money pit that you speak of? :jbhmm:

Your mind and your logic is :banderas:

American made cars were scoffed at in my household growing up. My pops always drove Honda Accords and after a while, he got a BMW. He always said that American made cars guzzle gas and break like wood. Couldn't been more truer cause I see people with models from 07-10 that looked and performed worse than my old 98 Civic :mjlol:

:picard: Benz or BMs don't last over 130k with no problems? that's news to me. by that time, I'll be ready for a newer model upgrade anyway :yeshrug: . But I have heard nothing but good things about the reliability of Lexus and Toyota brands.
