You know...THE WAY shyt IS NOW!!!!!!!!

You know...THE WAY shyt IS NOW!!!!!!!!

You know its bad when EA is distancing themselves from the company.
It's like Jason saying he don't fukk with Freddy.iPads and steam are nothing alike I don't get that comparison .And kinect is a casual gamer thing . I've said this time and time again the "benefits" of a Xbox1 being similar to a tablet , smart phone or computer just make it sound redundant . I have all of those things Already I don't need more Netflix , Skype , devices and if I want to talk to my friends I have a million ways to do that too. When I buy a console I care about the games and gaming experience not these other superfluous options . And to top it off i cant play offline and these greedy b*stards want to monitor me So they can make sure I'm not sharing or getting anything free.Actually remote sharing sounds the simplest of all the options
@ The bolded:
Which is why they love iPads and steam. Once people see their console behaving intelligently and providing instant gratification like an iphone, then all of this other stuff will go away.
All they have to do is put a kiosk in the middle of the mall, and have people come up and interact with it, and watch others recover their entire gaming career and switch between games/apps/TV on the fly. People will start to understand benefits and the online/drm stuff will go away. Regardless of how you feel about kinect, if it works how they say it does, people will be amazed the first time the experience it.
Games can be played during the install. You will have to wait a minute to get started, then you will be able to play while its still installing. Or you could share the game with your friend from home and he can start downloading it before you even come over.
And you keep trying to promote this idea that people don't have the Internet, but there is a very small number of people with the money/desire to play high end video games that don't have the Internet. And judging from E3 the totally offline game will soon be a thing of the past.
Damn, it's like Microsoft and EA walked outside, saying that they are in this situation together, and when the mob arrived with pitchforks and torches, EA was like
and ran inside and locked Microsoft out, leaving them alone to face the wrath.
why can't we have what we want & not just what they give us. You sound like Job's wife
Your last sentence is why people are calling you guys stans, your doing all this arguing for a system that doesn't even have a basic problem it will encounter figured outActually with smartphones you are more likely to have an Internet connection than power in the case of an emergency.
And I do look forward to them adressing the concerns about XBL going down. I would assume that it's easy to put a failsafe in the system that would unlock play for all X1 indefinitely if the servers go offline or get shut off. That is a legitimate concern and one they should address before November.
And this is what Meach and Spliff don't get. They only thinking of their situations and tech expertise. Lots of mufukkaz like simple, i.e. take a disc over to a friends house and play with no restrictions or needing online authetication, etc.

they act like this is some useful innovation yet they could of allowed you to install games and access your library remotely without the extra stuff. And they look forward to watching a company like ms that's greedy and slow to act figure out how they'll deal with issues in the future ??? Lol good luck with thatYou are only one type of consumer. Your needs/desires are not indicative of mainstream America.iPads and steam are nothing alike I don't get that comparison .And kinect is a casual gamer thing . Some people will be left out, but those people are a very small minority of the population. Especially with smart phones and mobile 3G like Clear. It's not very difficult to get an online connection. Those that can't shouldn't be buying a next gen console anyway because most games will be centered around online connectivity. There will be a small minority of games that can be used totally offline, and even those games will be severely gimped by being disconnected.Alot of people don't have the Internet in their homes ( it's easy to get Internet access out the home but in the home not always ) . The same way alot of people don't have cable. Oh and people overseas or in the armed flees. Serving abroad ??

because people want games that won't be able to run off an optical drive. but there's all these inherent issues when the data is no longer tied to a physical object. at some point it is silly to require a disc in the drive, even though the game's not running off it at all
tech heads maybe . Most regular consumers don't even pay attention to that type of shyt , you do realize that
you said your a pc gamer correct ?XBL is known for reliability. I can't remeber a time that it was down more than a day.Your last sentence is why people are calling you guys stans, your doing all this arguing for a system that doesn't even have a basic problem it will encounter figured out
How could that work without an Internet check-in?I know . And the real reason they are doing it is , to try and control game sharing and used games tradingthey act like this is some useful innovation yet they could of allowed you to install games and access your library remotely without the extra stuff. People said "I don't need all that in my phone" before the iphone came out and look at it now. People also scoffed at the idea of the iPad because their laptop could do all of that.

Basically offline gaming in 2014 is![]()

You call me a fanboy but why aren't you standing up to Sony and making them address the problems with PSN that have been there for years? Not only did they not address the problems they are now charging you for online gaming. What are you gonna do when/if PSN goes down for two weeks again?
How could that work without an Internet check-in?
idk similar to the cloudWhat peopletech heads maybe . Most regular consumers don't even pay attention to that type of shyt , you do realize that
you said your a pc gamer correct ?
yes, my perspective is that of a pc gamer that uses a purely DD system. if I had to change discs every time I wanted to play a different game, I'd be pissed
See this is where I stop arguing with you because you sound like an elitist jackass.
Why are one third of Americans turning their backs on high-speed Internet? | Digital Trends is 1/3 of america a small portion ? how dare you tell people what they should do woth their money . im a big gamer who rarely plays online (uncharted 3, nba 2k12, the show were exceptions) nd the fact that we have smart phones and 3G compatible tablets , and so many businesses offering hot spots makes home Internet less necessary .
What world do you live in ? Do you know people besides gamers and tech heads? And not to mention the amount of women I know that play games (
Like my fiancée) that never go online
idk similar to the cloud
