Eagles got finessed....You give up all those draft picks to only move up 6 spots to take a QB that won't be ready in 2 years, has high bust potential when your next pick isn't until the 4th fukking round.

Stupid :mjlol:. The Browns actually did something right.

ByrdGang we did it :blessed:
Yeah, I'm not understanding dudes in here saying we lost.

According to Roseman (and analysts I'm watching on TV as I type this), the QB prospects over the next 2-3 years - whether via the draft or free agency - are not great. If we can get a potential franchise guy NOW, as the quarterbacks for the teams in the rest of division are getting older, we can start to rebuild around that guy now.

Also, :heh: at people saying "Cleveland made out like bandits." What good is getting a lot of picks if you don't know how to utilize them? :pachaha: Yeah, because it's not like the Browns have never had a plethora of draft picks before, or even TOP draft picks before, and blew them...
right? Y'all seriously trust that front office with the bonanza they were given? :stopitslime:

We're clearly taking Wentz, and I've seen him play for the last three years (they smashed my nephew's squad in the playoffs en route to the championship in 2014). I think he can be great and also dynamic.

Besides, :mjlol: at nikkas being mad we're getting a QB with Sam fukking BRADFORD as our current starter. :camby:

Does anyone else thing the qb bubble is going to pop soon in the NFL?

I mean... we have whole drafts being traded away for potentially "average" qb's and career backup qb's signing huge mega deals.

:what:

I just think something is going to change. Teams will learn to not leverage their entire franchise on sheer hope that a qb will lead them to the promised land in 4 years.

edit* Running game, o-line and D. Denver showed that it can happen.
People still sold on QBs being the face of the franchise :snoop:

Luckily my Bucs were bad 2 seasons ago were able to just take Winston without forcing themselves into doin' something stupid.

Somebody gotta hit my Bucs up. Glennon for a fukkin' 2nd would be a damn steal at this rate :damn:

I just don't see what was so hard for the Eagles to keep their picks and build through the draft. They could have actually had a semi-solid team that was ready for a QB to lead them somewhere in a few years. They just depleted their draft potential for the next 3 years. And I was actually giving Howie Roseman props a month ago for fleecing the Dolphins to have him turn around and get fleeced by Cleveland.

Just heard that the Broncos are interested in trading for Chase Daniels.

These fools throwing all sense out the window for some QBs who aren't impressive. These dumbasses never learn :heh:
And they paying 2 other qb's on the roster too? So you're either gonna draft a guy and sit him or you just burning money on the bench. Either way it's a L. Especially when you need talent at plenty other positions.
Besides who else between the Rams and the 8th pick was going to draft a QB?
Cleveland probably called them up like "hey we getting a lot of calls on this pick I think they all want a QB. Since we like yall we're going to offer this deal to you. It's a real bargain :youngsabo:" and Philly dumb asses bit

Cleveland moving down tells you they didn't want a QB. Unless another team was going to pull the trigger they should have stayed at 8 and Wentz or Goff would probably fall to them. I'd rather gamble on that then trading away picks:yeshrug:. They gave all that up for a guy they probably could have gotten anyway.

For one, it's been widely reported that the Rams are taking Goff, to where it's almost a foregone conclusion.

Secondly, Roseman was just asked that very question in the press conference....media was like "how confident are you that you're going to get your QB?", and he said "we're very confident." Therefore I don't think the Eagles make this move if they weren't getting EXACTLY who they want, which would mean they woukd have to know what they're up against.

nikkas like "why draft a quarterback who's two years away?" Do you fools REALLY believe that we were going to win a championship in the next two years? :stopitslime: :camby:

I hate Roseman AND Lurie, but this was a good move.

WHO?

Who's this magical QB who was gonna lead them once they were "ready" in two years? And if they're not going to be ready for another couple of years doesn't that also mean that the quarterback they would get in those next couple of years would have to go through a learning curve?

I don't see it, fam. If you can get a franchise QB now, then do it.

Besides, why are cats acting like we're not gonna start the season with sorry ass Bradford? Y'all REALLY think that fakkit scrub is gonna lead us somewhere? C'mon y'all.....

Nah, Watson is the truth. After watching that championship game, he damn near single handidly beat Bama without his top two receivers. He has "IT"

College game is soo much different then the pros now. Read an article in SI on how much harder it is to project these guys to the next level even more then before

I like Watson but hes far from a no brainer franchise qb

College game got away from pro offenses. Only a handful of schools run them. I couldnt name you 5 schools that use a fullback

it;s funny how they pretty much ignore everythng the fans say/think.

holaaaaaaaaaay

we aint shyt...we are far from experts. But at the very least..if there is a vast majority of ppl saying they dont want something to happen that should tell mgmt something. if they were going to do some immensely stupid shyt like this they hsouldve done it with Mariota last year. Not fukkin now. HEATED
I lurk the eagles team thread but dont post often because most of us feel the same way.

Worst of all, this seems like a draft class that is very equal to one another...

No sense moving to number two when pick number 78 will most likely be equally as good
