For the record, I LOATHE Bradford. I'd damn near trade all those picks just to have him erased from my Eagles memory. Please don't mistake my post as a Bradford support.
Dapped.
"Having said that, I dont see how its a well thought out plan to trade 4 or 5 potential future starters on a team with as many holes as we have for anything short of a consensus bona fide."

you ASSUME those picks would end up being starters....Wentz is GONNA start.
We gave up five draft picks over the next three years: the No. 8 pick in the first round, a third-round pick (77th overall) and a fourth-round pick (100th overall) this year; a first-round pick in 2017; and a second-round pick in 2018. I can live with this year's draft, especially since we're getting a potential franchise QB. True, some of those guys COULD have panned out, but I'm cool with the gamble.
"We just traded away our next 3 years of draft potential. Where do you plan on finding the offensive line that's going to keep this guy off the floor at? How about the defensive backfield and linebackers to actually have to keep him from passing 40 times a game since you'll always be playing catch up?"
Honestly, do we even know what type of SCHEMES that Pederson is gonna run on either side of the ball? Roseman was asked about giving up too much to move up to #2 in his press conference, and claimed that they feel they can still adequately address their needs THIS year and next, but admitted that it's dicey for 2018. So if we had to wait two more years for bona fide starters ANYWAY, then what's really the difference?
If we had to wait two years anyway, we might as well get our QB now so he'll that be equipped to LEAD that team in two years.
Plus, don't forget free agency, we're always major players there, too....
