This talk about "QB's next year, the year after and year after that" are weak....is BS. The same thing was said last year about this year's crop. No matter how bad the QB crop is, as we get closer to the draft, those "weak" QB's are going to ride that hype train all the way up to what has happened this year. It always happens and especially now that the contracts won't destroy teams anymore.

we did this after 18 mil for bradford, and after 7 mil for daniel :mjlol:

our future traded away for goff or wentz :scust:

this franchise is a joke
You can still blame chip

There going overboard on qbs to make sure Peterson isnt a total failure even though he's never called the plays.

Bradford isn't some bum off the street, he's good enough with the right pieces around him to make you a legit contender. This is a gamble, pure and simple, and it's just not a smart one. The Eagles are hitting on 18 and are "confident" that there's a 3 coming up. It's absolutely asinine to bet the house on a hand like that.

None of these dudes are worth trading away four picks. Sorry.

Just seeing the Senior Bowl, Wentz was giddy out of the pocket with an inch of dline pressure.
Bitty Hands Goff played in an one read Air Raid offense and sucked when he played against any good defenses.

Cleveland and Tennessee won with these trades.

Now they saying someone will trade up of Lynch :mindblown:

He didn't play bad last year. At all. The team let him down. There are only 5 QBs in the league that could have salvaged that Eagles offense.

i think that offense makes the players look better then they really are. of course trading mccoy was stupid and signing a rb who doesnt fit that system was foolish

Yeah, I'm not understanding dudes in here saying we lost.

According to Roseman (and analysts I'm watching on TV as I type this), the QB prospects over the next 2-3 years - whether via the draft or free agency - are not great. If we can get a potential franchise guy NOW, as the quarterbacks for the teams in the rest of division are getting older, we can start to rebuild around that guy now.
And here's where you bought into the bullshyt. Go back a year and no one was saying Goff or Wentz are number 1 or 2 overall picks. This year is shyt when it comes to QB and they would have said the same thing last year and it's been that way.
So you can't big up this year's qb class now and shyt on next year's when this year's was considered to be in the place of next year's last year.

I dont think you understand what I wrote so you keep asking same question. I dont believe in 'needing a qb to win', period. do you believe in 'needing a free safety to win' ? probably not. thats me and qbs.
you dont need to have a 'good' to 'great' qb to win football games. do you think you'll lose a game if a corner back you drafted in a 5th round starts that game ? probably not. same for me if a qb drafted in the 5th round starts the game.

qb is just another position, glorified so much by the media it's retarded.

to answer your question, especially in this division, which has nearly always for last ~5 years been driven by great defenses. thats one thing that the Niners lack right now. defense. defense will be the main reason why we wont be able to compete. if we had a 2011-esque defense, I wouldnt be worried about shyt.

It's "glorified" because it's undoubtably the single most important position in football to those that have more than two functioning brain-cells. You cant list all of the outliers you want, but the FACT remains that having a "good" to "great" QB gives you a significantly better chance to win.

Let's go back for the past twenty years and see how many Super Bowl Champions did not have a "good" to "great" QB.

You have the 2000 Ravens and 2002 Buccaneers. Those are literally the only teams you can say did not have a "good" to "great" QB unless you want to be extremely generous and include the 2001 Patriots and 2013 Ravens.

Out of TWENTY Super Bowls, you have FOUR times where a team didn't have a "good" to "great" QB. Take your insane logic or lack thereof and keep it moving.:camby:.
