The fallout has already started. The older players are getting burn because JK got killed for using too much youth for the Confederations Cup playoff spot. I'm not co-signing anything that Klinsmann has done with this roster, but I understand why he has done what he did.

Wondo over Morris is probably the first reason that will possibly get him canned if we go out in the group stage. Not having Altidore, one would think that Morris would get the chance to at least make the bench as he is the only forward that has any semblance of hold up play... and he's a decent striker, although still a bit green. Wondo is a poacher, a smart one, but just a poacher. One who has failed to produce against opponents not named a country in the Caribbean or Belize. People haven't forgiven him for missing a point blank opportunity that cost the USMNT from progressing further in the Wold Cup. The US midfield has had trouble maintaining possession and creating chances since the end of the World Cup, so having Wondo could make our attack more toothless. Wondo has scored more than Morris in MLS and he must have had a good camp, so this is why he got the nod over the youthful, but inexperienced Morris.

Orozco over Ream (especially him) and Lichaj is the second head-scratcher because outside of the lone goal that helped the USMNT get their first ever victory at Azteca, he has been absolute shyt! What's more confusing is that he has been tried at every position on the backline, and he was cooked in every match. We have no pure LB on our roster. (Fabian Johnson will never play midfield for the US; he is our LB)

Beckerman (Dreads) over Williams is simply preference, the fact that we are overloaded at DM and the emergence of Kitchen has kept Williams off. Dreads is the teacher's pet and does his job competently, for the most part. Danny Williams should have been able to retire Beckerman, but he has trouble maintaining possession against quality opponents.... at the DM position, with our suspect backline, will result in a goal. Beckerman loses possession too, but he works hard to get it back after he does.. and Williams doesn't! Williams needs to work on his passing and possession. If he works on that, he could land a back role in case Bradley or Jones goes down or Bedoya stays medicore. Williams isn't beating Kitchen. He got next! Perry Kitchen is basically the best DM in the Scottish Premier League. He has to go up against Darlington Nagbe as well. Good luck with that!

The 32-year-old was drafted into the squad for June's Copa America as a late replacement for veteran Santos striker Ricardo Oliveira who was forced to withdraw though injury

Jonas says he is delighted to be joining the Brazil squad for next month’s Copa America Centernatio in USA after being drafted in as a late replacement for Ricardo Oliveira.

36-year-old Santos striker Oliveira was set to lead the line in June but has been forced to withdraw because of a knee injury.

Benfica forward Jonas had been named in Dunga’s 40-man preliminary squad, from which any late changes to the final 23 must be selected.

"I am very happy to be called up, it arrives to complete what has been a wonderful season," Jonas told SporTV.​

Luis Suarez is going to miss the opening games of the tournament.

A Barca club statement read: "Tests on Monday morning have confirmed that FC Barcelona striker Luis Suárez has suffered an injury to the semimembranosus muscle in his right leg.

Uruguayan team doctor, meanwhile, has indicated Suarez is expected to be out for the group stage of the competition.

"Suarez has a hamstring injury that will take about three weeks for recovery," said Alberto Pan.

"He will travel directly to the United States. He can play in the knockout stages.
