Eli isn't a Hall of Famer. I don't care if he won 2 SBs. He is well behind other QBs in his generation - Brady, Peyton, Rodgers, and Brees. His playoff runs weren't even elite quality like when Flacco went on an insane playoff run.

He won in 07 because Asante drops a game winning INT and Tyree has this miracle catch with Rodney draped all over him

And in 2010, they again won because Welker drops a pass that would have sealed a Pats win meanwhile another ridiculous pass and catch happened that had no business being completed -

The Pats choked more than anything in these 2SBs.

Don’t be a hater. Eli was lights out those 2 postseason runs. He wasn’t as good as those other guys you named, but the pats blew Super Bowl 42 on their own arrogance. They went for it on 4th down when they were in field goal range and turned it over on downs and Brady got strip sacked right before halftime to snuff out another drive. Then after Plaxico scored they panicked and went for all deep passes despite having all 3 timeouts, which was definitely enough time to get into field goal range. Samuel did drop that pick, but it was a crazy difficult ball to get to. They went from scoring 37 a game to putting up 14 in that game. That’s a 23 point drop from their season average. Also Eli had 150+ yards and 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter of that game.

In 2011 they shouldn’t have even been there with Lee Evans dropping the winning touchdown and then Cundiff missing the tying field goal from 32 yards 2 plays later in the afc title game. The throw to Welker was high. If he wasn’t 5’8 then sure, but you can’t put the ball that high for a short guy. That throw to Manningham was perfect though. Best throw I’ve ever seen a quarterback make. You can’t place a ball better than that throw . In this one they went from scoring 32 per game on the season to scoring 17 on the night. Can’t be dropping off that much in a Super Bowl and expect to win.

The poll is 18-4 :mindblown:

Tf that mean Mf’s said they were confused on what you were asking, or did you only read a couple responses

Because winning a Super Bowl is SOOOOOOOO easy to do, word to Dan Marino

Not at all but also if you made it to two, you should at least make it to the playoffs other times right….

That look-off then dime to Manningham is not helping your argument lol. That's probably the best ball I've ever seen a QB throw in the Super Bowl

You can't drop a pass that hits you right between your hands when you're wide open with no defender around you especially given that Manningham hauls a pass that was much more difficult while staying in bounds between two defenders.

It was lower than I recall, but it was still high and away from him :manny:. The manningham catch was probably as tough if not tougher though.
