working from home is the BESTBut when you are working from home you can do it at your leisure....and plus you dont even have to leave the house how is that not a win. take a break anytime you want, drink all you want, do what you want...
I wish I was working from home but as an amazon driver I gotta be on the road in the afternoons...9-10 hour shifts...
I heard Zuckerberg or one of those fukks talking about this. Most definitely. They were already going to start hiring people for less once they moved the company to low cost of living location.
I already said this from the beginning. JP Morgan ain’t paying no worker 150K a year while they sit at home in Kentucky lol
Bosses wanna keep a eye on you and order you around to feed the egosI dont understand if the job can be done with computers why not let them work remotely!!???especially if its not a physical job...
What type of academic background do you need for this type of job?My company makes medical devices and kits we have to stay in a 100 percent sterile environment no way we can do WFH. Our front office is a ghost town but R&D, Chemist's, Lab techs, Bulk Form., analysts, testers, fillers, packagers, shipping and receiving all have to be there and have been there since this shyt started. The bonuses we've been receiving tho, are on par with the Combat pay I was getting in the Marine Corps. I cleared my first bona-fide 100k yr by myself (with out combined income) due to the Pandemic for just basically showing up and doing my regular ass job.

People dont wanna commute anymore, businesses need to understand this or lose out on top talent
good
don't blame them, its now a requirement and not a "perk"
why should i drive a hour to work in traffic sit at a chair for 8 hours and then a hour home rinse and repeat 5 days a week for like 11 months of the year. When for the past like 14 months I worked from home perfectly fine with zero hiccups
I'd quit as well
Keep thinking everybody can just threaten to quit and these companies will buckle.
What they'll do is start eliminating jobs that may be considered ancillary, then they'll consolidate different jobs into 1 job with more responsibilities and less pay.
They'll also target Indian, African and Asian talent who have no issue coming to the office 5 days a week.
You know if you use your home as a workplace you could write some of it off your taxes, right? My job isn't WFH but if it was I would still rather come into the office. Only takes 5-10 minutes to get there (with traffic).
Rather use up their electricity, water, and air conditioning than my own. Plus I like having the ability of getting up and walking around the building versus sitting in my drawers in my bed or at my desk not really tryna do shyt.
Everyone is different though.![]()
