The Opposite Of Elliott Wilson's Mohawk
Remember, I live in Canada, 3 carats here is :merchant:. Anyways, for $5K I'm not even smelling a carat based on the style I'm looking at (halo, cushion cut, pave). But we been out so I know what she likes. Just...thinking things through.
I mean u got to pay the cost to be the boss

It looks like its gonna be what its gonna be. I am seeing rings in your style for like $2000-5000 online though with 1-2cts

Cut and color. Wifey want one of the pricier styles cuz not only is the diamond in the middle, but it's got the diamonds around it. She has expressed that she would take anything so she not hunting for a big rock, I'm just trying to figure out what I need to get.

Tiffany's? :what:

Sounds like she wants a cushion cut. As for color, D-F is colorless (D being the best, g-j near colorless). I wouldn't recommend getting a diamond with a color grade lower than an I)

Tiffany is the best place to get an engagement ring by far breh, why are you saying :what: have you ever been to Tiffany?

Just the engagement ring. Wedding ring is another 1-2K

Am I crazy then? Is it because of affordability or it's just way too high? I got the dough
You're crazy.

Wedding rings should be no where near that much

And you can get a great wedding Ring for 3k and under

The style of ring my girl wants would be a small fortune at tiffany's and I think you paying mainly for the name there.

Myself. fukk 12(1)!
Don't spend 10K on a freaking wedding ring, even if you can afford it. That shyt is the least important aspect of the marriage (to me).

My husband asked me what I wanted, we went to go look at a few styles, and I picked out something that was reasonably-priced (2K-3K). The money he would have spent on some crazy expensive ring we instead put towards a rental property (something that's actually going to make us money).

I'm not a flashy person, though, so wearing a huge rock on my hand isn't my thing or a priority for me.

Never get an engagement ring from a main jewelry chain store...that's like getting car repairs done at the dealership rather than finding a mechanic

No you wouldn't be paying a small fortune, but think about what paying for the name Tiffany & Co and the Blue Box means:

Tiffany is celebrating 130 years of introducing the engagement ring and you'll get superior quality to any of these Zales, Jared, Helzberg Diamond type companies where you think you're getting a good deal, but you're actually getting low quality diamonds or diamonds that aren't cut at a high level or have a lot of inclusions or have chips on the facets of the diamond

Facts:

-Tiffany only carries diamonds with a color range of D-I, so even if you got an I, you would be leaving with no worse than a near colorless diamond

-Tiffany grades on Presence, which measures a diamond's brilliance, scintillation and dispersion (Basically how light comes through the diamond and the sparkle you see from a diamond)

-Tiffany diamonds are hand cut, hand crafted and hand polished and have been doing this since 1886

-Tiffany rejects 99.96% of all gem grade diamonds...you're getting the best possible diamond at Tiffany

-You'll also get a lifetime warranty from Tiffany for your purchase as well

Don't waste your time spending money on bullshyt diamonds, especially if you really want to spend that amount of money. Tiffany doesn't add chemicals or colors to its diamonds like other companies do to try and enhance it. If you're serious about your fiancée and about this purchase you owe it to yourself to at least do the research and comparison shop, but I would strongly recommend you go to Tiffany and ask the questions and see the difference for yourself
