Y'all asking about Legler not being in this new show gotta understand that he's not a good fit for who they want watching the show.

The Jump didn't get cancelled because no one was watching it, it got cancelled because the host/creator became a toxic property that they no longer see value in. This show is still aiming for most of that same audience. As such, they're staffing it with people they think that audience is going to be drawn to. Legler is great at analysis, but an engagement driving TV personality he is not. Even though it's later the SVP SportsCenter is the best place for him. It's largely aiming for an older audience that's okay with getting in depth information.

Most NFL fans are interested in actual football games, including the majority of the causals. Unfortunately, most NBA fans - even a lot of the diehard ones - are more interested in the gossip and the off-seasons and stats and arguing Bron vs Jordan than they actually care about the actual games. Hell, you could figure that out by just using The Coli as an example.

NFL fans like football talk. NBA fans like stan wars and free agency.
