"Sometimes you just don't shoot the ball as well as you would like. It's the law of averages, it will equal out eventually"
"We were 41% from the field, 22% from 3. Well, we just didn't make shots"
"The media says we are a superteam, but I didn't even win the MVP award so we are not"

More concerned about not getting an MVP award instead of his team having an embarrassing loss. Dude is too cool for school, no sense of urgency :francis:

Talking about math up there like Mazzulla himself :wow: :mjcry:

After losing by 25 at home, he talking about MVP awards and how many Celtics made the all-star game.

Yeah, that reality smack for him won't happen until Cavs win Game 3 :mjlol:

Well I’d prefer it that outcome could be avoided

Honestly.. If you're the Cavs, offer him the max and let everything play out from there. That's all they really can do tbh
It's been out there that if he doesn't sign an extension this summer they may look up flip him. I wanted Orlando to win in the 1st Round to accelerate this scenario playing out

There was a sequence in the 3rd when the Cavs were making their run and the Cs really neede to score, Tatum took it to the lane and got a layup. Next posession Jaylen took it to the rim and got an and 1 layup. Instead of keeping the same aggression taking it to the rim, these dudes then decided to brick 5 3s in a row between Horford, White, and Holiday. This is the dumb shyt that has plagued this Cs team for years. Stop shooting 3s when it's not falling. You got 2 dudes who can take it to the rim. Both Tatum and Brown need to step up, demand the ball and take it to the rim. Ant and Brunson, both don't have the playoff experience as these two, but have a better understanding of what needs to be done in critical posessions.

Half your team's shots are 3 pointers. What else do you expect?

And you won't get the whistle in Cleveland, so when you drive to the paint, Mobley will be there.

Celtics fans gonna learn, like Magic fans learned in the first round, that Mobley is an unbelievable defender.

Cavs ran these goofies off the 3 points line. That's their blueprint to win. If Boston doesn't make 15 3's a game on a good percentage, they're in trouble

Even after Game 2 25 point loss, Bill Simmons still talking about how the Celtics will look in Finals.

A team with no rim protection still talking real spicy :laff:
