I'm starting to hate this distribution shyt more and more as of recent. :upsetfavre:

If I don't want to make long drives or deal with dumb showtimes, I've got to wait. Not even the local indie joint has it yet. :stopitslime:

I enjoyed it.
It may not be for everyone as there is zero action but i love dialogue heavy films.

Terrific performances and oscar Isaac is always a pleasure to watch.

Visuals we're dope too.

Though it was a bit predictable twist wise and im not sure how i feel about the 3rd act.
Overall though a good debut from garland and another solid entry from A24.

I'm seeing it Monday. Haven't watched as much as a single trailer so it'll be interesting to say the least.

I was fukking around on trailers on my AppleTV a few months ago and came across the trailer for this. I said "I have to see this" and my girl looked at me like :what:

Well. I went last night with her and we both enjoyed it. Great Movie. Deserves it's 91% on RottenTomatoes. I'm wondering what the other 9% were thinking though.

Anyone else get a chance to see this piff?

Well....

I thought she left him to die too. Until the car ride home and I'm thinking about it. Then it hit me :ohlawd:

First we got the shot of him banging on the door. It's obvious that he can't get out. So he goes back to the computer. And as soon as he puts the key card in the lights go out.....Then it cuts to her leaving.

The power went out.....that means the doors all unlock because the program he wrote. So she shorted the power again and saved him.

To me those were the two signs that she passed the Turin exam. She showed compassion and did something very human and then she exited the building

:smugdraper:
That's my take anyway

I'm not too excited about this flick(all my excitement right now is star wars related) but I will for sure check it out, if not for Oscar Isaac alone

Cornfields, cows, & an one stoplight town
Hands down, this was the best sci-fi movie I've ever seen. I don't ever remember being so engaged and challenged while watching a movie. I fukking LOVED this. The writing and the acting were fantastic. And the way it was shot was masterful. There was also humor, which surprised me. But most of, the ending was :banderas:. Writers threw safe and feel good out the window. I will be seeing this again.

10/10:lawd:
