100% agree with this. Would trade a foreign and a crib in the burbs for a bucket on them thangs with some knock in the trunk if not for

lived in one when i lived in norcross georgia. now i live in the hood, but it aint that bad, but some nikka i kinda knew did get killed in a driveby down the road awhile ago. but the gangs mostly about trappin than going in on eachother, most of the time.
but in afew months imma move out my parents house closer to campus, right off of downtown.
shyt gonna be crackin. gonna have 5 other roommates(only know 2 of them, went to high school with one, and the other i met in college, super tight with them both tho, we're still looking for the other guys) i might be the only nikka tho so shyt'll be different

Depends on the "Hood" and "Suburb". I grew up in a safe hood that only had like 1 murder in 5 years and I had some of the best memories there as a kid. I've lived in black/minority suburbs where shyt was always real 
but I also lived in a white suburb where all the white people stayed inside and I never spoke to our neighbors except for an Asian family across the street. 
But all in all the biggest thing i took away from it was that living in a community that has a high minority population is ideal. When I have kids i'm never raising them in a all white suburb I had the worst 3 years of my life in that environment.

Can't co sign this. As I child I seen my mother robbed in front of me. The gun shots at night, prostitutes on the corners, fiends, viles on the ground, shytty playgrounds, loud music at night, not being able to leave your bike for 1 minute alone. Nah it made me appreciate now but I don't want to raise my seeds in such conditions.
Rarely do I delve into my personal life online but I'll never forget going out grocery shopping with my mother right as a shootout started. Both of us ducking down in the car driving off and all we wanted was some godamn food
I'll never forget the sound when a stray bullet went through my house and landed in my downstairs bathroom. The outside of the house still has the entry hole.
