Fact is: even if you stay in the hood, the chances of anything crime related happening to you are extremely low.
If you grew up there, kept your nose clean and nikkas know and respect you and your fam then you'd probably be safer here than in the suburbs
Suburbs are
anyway. Liquor stores closing at 10pm on weekends, nobody out at any time of the day / night is dead as fukk, police always on ya ass / profiling hard and don't think about having a getogether or having more than a couple nikkas through.

Crime and life go hand in hand, I live in the suburbs and somebody caught a body a few months ago. Only difference between the hood and suburbs is the rate of crime and the incomes of those who live in these areas.Crime and the hood go hand in hand

I myself understand what OP is saying, being around nikkas and other minorities is fun. Kicking it on the steps, swimming at the pool in the apartments and stuff. My elementary school I had a crush on an Asian girl named Amy

shyt very rarely happens to cats who aren't doing dirt. There's 90% + of your crime statistics and the non violent crimes are done by hypes and teens. The innocent bystanders that get hit are mostly overblown by the media to make nikkas look worse. You carry yourself with respect and others treat you that way.
Like I said before, if you aren't a goofy or an idiot you'll be good anywhere. I've kicked it and messed with women in areas that I've never been or knew anyone at and never had a problem or felt like I would because of how I carry myself. Never lied or stunted about my affiliations or who I was to anyone and guess what? nikkas respect real
