Born and raised in the hood mold me into the person I am today:obama:

...taught me survival of the fiittest and to watch out for halfway crooks:stopitslime:

Sadly, CaCs transformed my old hood into the suburbs:beli:

That you're a clown? That was obvious from jump :francis:

"What if I happen come out of the car when shyt pops off?" :bryan:

:mjlol: What type of shyt is that? nikka this ain't fukking Iraq. Foh with this dumb shyt, you sound like a cac. You have a better chance of winning the lottery than just randomly catching a stray
:snoop: How typical, the "I don't like your point/ you're not agreeing with me so you're a cac." Having spent the last sevens years in Bmore, I agree with you b. You mind your business, you don't piss anybody off, you won't have any serious problems (never disagreed about that). What I don't agree with is saying "the hood is safer than the suburbs" because that it just false, regardless of much you try to spin it about keeping your head down.

I clearly said "Probably" so I didn't make a definitive statement like what you put in quotations :francis:

And that's based off of my opinion. I don't get fukked with by cops until I leave and go out in the suburbs. i feel less safe around them fakkits than I do with any nikka(s) on any block. I'm big as hell, black, and I don't kiss their ass or bow to em so it's always borderline hostile when I get stopped

I was fukking with a broad in Naperville and I get stopped and asked "what am I doing out here". I'm minding my business and I'm grown so is there a reason you pulled me over or not? Then here come the dogs, fake "hit" and search. shyt like that, I'm remember there was a stretch where I got stopped like ten+ times over a year for bullshyt.

So because YOU feel safer out there doesn't mean I do. So like I said before, foh

:snoop: It all makes so much sense now.

Um...yeah at least in mine we had one. We're from x neighborhood and we had pride in that. By sense of community I also mean things like block parties, cookouts, coming together on July 4th and etc. There's none of that in the suburbs.

Where are the black owned businesses? :sas2: a real community of us have plenty of those.

you cant sit around with the music blasting in the suburbs. this past summer man i was in upper darby. my boy was having a cook out and drinks on his front lawn. i think people get the hood mixed up with the projects. when i think of hood, i think houses. kids playing outside. corner store or should i say the bodega. its not the safest neighborhood but its a step up from the projects. where i grew up, there were certain projects you never stepped foot in. im talking lowest of the low. trash, graffiti, drugs, low life scum, roaches, drugs. gangs, guns.

Black/Minority city neighborhood with all age groups FTW

I grew up in a black middle class neighborhood it wasn't the burbs or inner city though. Houston is so big. I thought it was boring but that was because it had a lot of older families. When my brothers we younger they had a lot more kids/younger families. There was always community. I never want to live in the burbs I hate being far out.

Now I live in the hood but it is semi quiet there are a mixe different types of houses. I just wish there were more things around. We think its going to be gentrified soon too.

i dont like hood. And there is no sense of community in my hood. Everyone stays within established groups for the most part and nobodies smiling or saying hello to strangers.

i do like the city more then the suburbs. In the city everyones busy and less nosey. Most people who live in the city are chill cuz they meet people from all walks of life.

People from the suburbs are bored, nosey, and usually close minded.
