And yet he made the finals repeatedly in the same conference as yao with ridiculous support.

Duncan beat all the greats in his era Shaq Kobe KG Kidd Bron....and NEVER fell off, won less than 50 games and NEVER missed the playoffs. True excellence from his first day til his last.

on the other you have the most dominating force at the forward position..

but imagine prime shaq and prime lebron..

With the rules shaq played with... Lebron would have 2 broken shoulders and be on the cusp of retiring already thought. Thats why its so hard to compare players from different eras. Just compare a common foul today to 10 years ago. You cant even hand check anymore. I am not saying Lebron wouldnt have been great, but what I am saying is if shaq was playing with these new rules and current centers, he would be mvp, playoff mvp and ring winner every damn year.

I can rock with this, I think shaqs dominance over his peers was his greatest weakness. He didnt train and stay in shape as much as he shouldve cause it was to easy for him

Which is exactly my point. You are ignoring that putting Bron on a better team would lead to better team results. Bron on a stacked team, which he'd have out West, beats all those people and dominates the West the same way he's dominated the East.

And you're ignoring that if you swapped Durant for LeBron, he'd be going to five straight Finals too.

Shaq underachieved. He went to 6 finals in 19 years. How is that MDE? Kobe and Duncan have been to 7? LeBron bout to go to 5 in 5 years, 6 in like 12.

durant wouldnt have taken those teams to the finals, especially that first cavs team that got swept by the spurs. people dont understand what bron brings defensively and passing. both in which bron is superior to KD. KD is a better scorer though

I'll even give you that Shaq underachieved relative to his potential due to his lack of dedication, but that doesn't diminsh what he did accomplish.
